My obnoxiously loud gas pressure washer is on its way out (Thank God) lol kidding.
But it’s time for me a new one and I’m wondering if I should buy 2 of these and plumb them together? I’ve kept an eye out for the new 1.8gpm but haven’t had any luck finding them in stock.
It is for a mobile Detailing setup where I will be getting water from a tank/ transfer pump.
Yes I am on a budget (for now) and won’t be getting a kranzle just yet haha
Any advice is greatly appreciated
Two seems like a hassle without gain. If one works, keep the money for when it breaks because it will eventually break.
Honestly I would take that over the 1.8, which I have. 80 is insanely cheap. Wish I could return mine and get that now tbh
Everybody was falling over each other to get the 1.8 over the 1.2. What about the 1.8 is not up to expectations?
I run this exact pressure washer in my set up and it does perfectly fine. I have it coming from a 100gal low profile tank to ecoflow pump and then t’d off with a water hose for filling buckets/chemicals and then also to the ryobi washer. Have another detailer buddy who also has run his for years with no issues. Guess it boils down to what are you washing and how much water do you carry with you?
May I ask what the value proposition is in plumbing them together?
To get double the flow essentially
So they’d be plumbed in parallel off separate water intakes and then they’d be joined with some kind of balancer, so one machine doesn’t work too hard and burn out, and then from the balancer to the nozzle?
That’s a lot of work to save what amounts to $40-60 for a pressure washer with ~2 gpm. Would the fittings and the effort put into balancing out the two machines result in less cost than the difference to a 2gpm machine?
Matt from obsessed garage did the dual setup as well, never watched the second part though to fully understand https://youtu.be/F8mr2p0x0Pg?si=_7wXo8MvXKeyVhce
