What would you recommend remove an odour that seems to be deep into the seat?

I had a passenger in my brand new 25 civic si 4 days ago, we were on a trip for about 5-6 hours. Halfway into the trip I began to notice a smell almost like the inside of a cats mouth or something it was quite musty and it was humid outside as well.

After I had dropped him off I notice the smell was still there and upon further inspection (yes I sniffed the seat. Every good detective sniffs the seat) I noticed the odour was very strong and definitely coming from the base of the passenger seat, I hoped it would go away the next day but it didn’t and only gets worse in the heat.

I tried some odour removing spray and a brush which seemed to help a little bit but kinda just overpowered the smell until you get close or it warms up. Today I borrowed a friends wet carpet vacuum with some solution and scrubbed vigorously for 10-15 minutes which didn’t seem to make a difference. I currently have baking soda on the main problem area that I will vacuum up later.

If anybody has a solution or anything it would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!!

Was the odor removing product an enzyme cleaner because that's what you need. Biokleen Bac Out is available locally at most places including Target and Walmart. Soak liberally, wait for the enzymes to work and then remove via microfiber or extraction.

You’re right I bought something that isn’t an enzyme cleaner thinking it was, I just ordered a bottle of that from Amazon should be here tomorrow, thank you!
