Detailing expectations - black trim

I recently bought a Toyota Highlander used. It's like 7 years old but was well taken care of. I paid for a detail to get it cleaned up ($250 USD, in western US). The package was supposed to be pretty intensive.

The guy spent 4 hours doing the detail, but this was the final result. He missed spots underneath the seats (didn't vacuum or shampoo) but my biggest complaint is that all of my black trim still looks dirty. Before I complain, I wanted to ask how difficult is to to get this trim clean? I am not sure if he tried and just couldn't get it cleaned better or what

Those seem to be scratches so you can’t exactly get them “clean”. However he could’ve definitely applied a dressing to make them look darker and make the scratches much less apparent.

250 dollar is not enough for a 4 hour detail thats any good.

Hm interesting, good to know. It seemed like the going rate in my area as I was shopping around. I picked this company because of their great reviews.

take it back then. Scratches are okay but stains and stuff come on.
