That’s the most orange tiger I’ve ever seen.
Seriously. His fur pattern look cartoonish like Tony the Tiger
Siberian Tigers are fucking massive. They're immensely powerful and deserve respect. I believe its the biggest cat on the planet. Think at one point their population was literally in the Hundreds. It's incredibly sad.
Less than 600 remain in the whole world while bengal/indian tigers have way better number and escaped the risk of extinction with the help of indian govt protection efforts
[removed]
Just want to throw it out there that there are more tigers in the USA than there are in the wild. And the majority in the USA aren't in proper zoos or enclosures. They aren't in any sort of conservation efforts - They are peoples pets, or in roadside zoos.
It's quite sad really.
Once we all get raptured, the American Tiger is going to dominate though
Aslong as they are able to escape their enclosures, and have a few viable breeding pairs - I think Tigers would do alright wild in America, or at least, certain parts (many parts) of America, and certain breeds of tiger.
Although they are cats at the end of the day. They are very good at adapting. As long as there is enough prey items about - I think they would thrive if there was no human populous.
Huh, now that's an interesting way to deal with the wild hog problem down south.
I’d watch that wildlife documentary so fucking hard.
“Cat V Pig” would be amazing. Plus you’d be culling a destructive force. The only issue would be dealing with the tiger infestation after the pig slaughter. I honestly love this idea, and we really don’t have any reason to think it’d go wrong. Think of the ratings.
Yeah, they can get huge. Males have been consistently get up to 700lbs in the wild lol, that is a lot of cat. Apparently they can even get bigger with a male in 2019 being recorded at 846.8 lbs in the wild which was the largest ever recorded weight.
If you see one, make sure to give it a fist bump
Respect? Tigers can’t even do math. Smh 🤦♂️
That would be a Liger. It's pretty much my favorite animal. It's like a lion and a tiger mixed... bred for its skills in magic.
Biggest cats in the world. Pretty cool.
Or Hobbes
I had a HUGE Calvin and Hobbes comic book when I was but a boy. Honestly I think its the only comic I've actually read!
It's the only comic you actually read because Calvin and Hobbes is one of the very few comic strips worth reading...
It's all the milk he's been drinking... It's grrrrrreat!
He’s living a soft life. 🤣🤣
And she still has both arms. That's nice
He's Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat!
And the fattest
She feeds him huge chunks of French cheese 🥰 I follow them on instagram. The love they share is so sweet.
Glad to know they spend a lot of time together and he is so loved. This helped make my day better so thanks for posting it.
I feed my house panther tiny chunks of brie, I’m grateful that I knew he loved me before he discovered brie or I would always wonder
Has he ever bitten you? ;)
No he just yells at me
What’s the @ for a follow?
A French woman named Brigitte has a remarkable relationship with a blind Siberian tiger named Atilla. She raised Atilla from a kitten after his mother abandoned him. Brigitte works at Tigres et Lions en Normandie, a sanctuary for rescued lions and tigers according to Yahoo. The two share a close bond, with Brigitte providing care and companionship. Videos on TikTok show Brigitte interacting with Atilla, including hand-feeding him.
@caressedetigre on TikTok & Instagram
Not a sanctuary. They breed lions in order to illegally organize tours where people can pet the lion cubs, and they then sell the lions to circuses.
People act like they forgot about Tiger King.
I'll never emotionally recover from that.
a black lining in every cloud, you say. :(
The worst conditions I have ever personally seen were at a farm animal sanctuary. Sanctuaries are wonderful in theory, but they are not the be-all and end all of animal care, nor do they have a monopoly on loving animals.
Ahh so they’re entrepreneurs.
Amazing animals being stuck entertaining people in a circus is terrible. In general Zoos suck too. Having them in captivity sucks, but sucks more because all those enclosures are way too small
Caressedtigre I think! I love to watch, she speaks to him like a baby and it warms my heart ❤️
Do they have a YT channel? I dislike Instagram but I'll take what I can get.
I hope he also gets fed a whole deer....cause that's not a healthy diet for a tiger
You mean a chonker.
Those patches above the eyes look like panda faces 🐼
O.M.G
The orangeness might just be the video's saturation. But I think the chonkiness might suggest the tiger's a Siberian tiger rather than a Bengal tiger, which is what we think of when we think of tigers.
All tigers are naturally white. In the wild they get their orange color from eating gingers. Farm raised tigers have to be dyed orange as a diet rich in gingers is not economically feasible outside of Ireland.
Couldve just fed them irish
Seems more economical to feed them Finns. Less transport cost.
Gingers pale complexion and lack of athleticism make them easy targets, and the preferred food source for tigers. The ginger gene only remains prevalent in Ireland due to its isolation from tiger populations.
A lush coat is usually indicative of being very healthy and hydrated and receiving all the nutrients that a big cat needs. Its also a good indicator of a low-stress environment. So honestly, it makes this whole thing more adorable because its clearly very loved and is happy.
I genuinely cannot tell if this is AI or not
Sadly it's not. They were condemned by French justice in 2023 for breeding tigers in order to sell the babies for circus. They also sell time to pet baby tigers despite the fact that can't receive public.
He doesn't know it.
Probably because of proper nutrition and lots of it.
I think the love that lady gives that big baby brings the color out. The sheer mass of its arms, paws, and itself is just amazing. These animals are straight up killing machines and of course some lady thinks nothing of it to bring out milk and clean little stuff off it.
So adorable!
Ah yes the Siberian Tiger the largest specie of tiger
Made me think it was ai for a sec
That tiger is seriously the most orange I’ve ever seen. Makes the whole story even cooler.
I was just thinking that this is one of the best looking tigers I’ve seen. The coat on them looks amazing.
So she's a cat lady, with extra steps.
Extra steps?
She’s a cat lady on buckets of steroids…
The ultimate cat lady. Final boss.
She's Grrrrrrreat!!
She’s not so much a cat lady on buckets of steroids as she is a cat on buckets of steroids lady.
Nah mate, that's a tiger lady.
Same agency, different department.
Cat Lady Final Boss
She's clearly the type to choose a horse sized duck.
You don't want to get on this cat lady's bad side
"No one fucks with a lion tiger"
😂😂😂😂😆😆😆😆😆😆
Why are the most dangerous animals so damn cute?!? We are supposed to avoid them but all I want to do is cuddle!!
That's how they get you!
Just like people.
Yeah I prefer Reptoids. They look scary, but they're way easier to talk to. All that shit about them running the government and eating children is propaganda. s/
Humans can mess up their government and eat children on their own just fine.
Lemme pet that caaaat
Ooo look at that bear! It’s so cute and soft and cudd… AHGHHH
If not friend why friend shaped?
I've said that heaven is is a place where we can cuddle with the big animals...tigers, polar bears, lions...all of them. They are clean and smell good and they won't scratch, bite, or maul your face off. You can take naps on bears! This gives me hope.
I know! I want to hug and kiss a tiger. I want to bury my face in his fur. This one is gorgeous, and so gentle with his human. I think his disability gives him a different perspective. He knows she literally is taking care of him. He needs her. He loves her. That is what gave him such a big heart and gentle disposition.
Can I pet that daaawwg?
It's just context and setting.
You see a bear in a zoo? Cute, fun, curious and smart.
You catch a bear in the corner of your eyes while on a hike? Pure fear and adrenaline.
Well also the bigger an animal is the cuter. sadly all animals are dangerous too right?
Usually it is the opposite. Bears, elephants, hippos. Most large animals are not that cute.
Black bears are freaking adorable! What are you on about
they chose the cutest examples for that comment
Black bears aren't large or huge. They're the size of a big dog and less than half the size of this tiger, I bet. They're also easily scared off.
So are polar bears and they will fuck you up on site. All bears are cute
You couldn't have taken worse examples. All of those are cute. An Italian tourist died not too long ago in Eastern Europe because he approached a mama bear and her cubs for pictures. He wouldn't have approached a warthog.
hippos
Take that back. TAKE THAT BACK, MOTHERFUCKER! How dare you say such things about Moo Deng's whole species?! Are you saying when she gets older she'll be ugly? Blasphemy! She will forever be cute!
Baby elephants are very very very cute, the adults are majestic.
Elephants are also very, very cute what?
Bruh, polar bears are very cute! Very friend shaped.

See, this is important. This isn't 'adoption' and people shouldn't own giant wild animals lol
I was scrolling down to see where she was from and what her deal was, thank you.
Unfortunately, these people "shouldn't" own wild animals either.
Just from a quick google, they have had complaints of abuse, they were charged and found guilty, they had to pay fines and had 13 animals seized from them.
The articles talk about how the owner grew up in the circus business (which makes sense why she, then, was caught breeding these animals and selling the babies to the circus).
Ohhhhhhhh noooooooooo
Yeah, I’m skeptical of any situation where the person is having unprotected contact with a dangerous species. Legitimate sanctuaries don’t do that.
I was thinking the same thing. Like this is heartwarming but the tiger looks terrified and confused. It’s a tender moment but there’s a reason he’s acting so timid and it’s not because he’s blind.
Is it heartwarming, or is it manipulative? That animal is massively overweight and is probably drugged.
Welp, that got dark 😔
Exactly, this tiger is in obvious poor health. She is not a trained to keep tigers.
Any time one of these organization shows people handling the animals directly like this, you know they're full of shit. Proper rehab and rescues do NOT interact with their animals directly like this, for the safety of the animal and the safety of the staff.

Thank you
Thank you! I was coming to see if anyone credited her. I just love her and how she talks to her "sons"!
What a fat tiger. At least there's no doubt it's loved. I imagine being blind also kind of reduces it's mobility/activity a bit so that probably doesn't help. At least there's reduced aggression risk because it is reliant on humans to hand feed it.
My thought too, he definitely looks overweight. You make a good point about lack of activity.
This particular tiger is 20 years old (which is REALLY old for a tiger even in captivity) and arthritic in his joints so he's gotten a bit chunky over the years - they try to strike a balance with him of keeping him happy and full and not letting him get any bigger. Which is tricky when his murder mittens are the size of your head.
Risking my life would be worth squishing those toe beans.
20 years of time... maybe not.
Yeah I usually hate seeing animals made obese by captivity, but in this case, I don't think there's much that could have been done. It's not like you can go in there with a mouse on a string and wiggle it around like you would for a house cat.
I was going to say, I'm not putting a tiger that I get up close and personal with on a diet lol
He doesn't even know that lady doesn't look like mama tiger
Thirsty blind murder cat
Why friend shaped?
Is a Tiger friend shaped?
This one seems to be
This one is most certainly friend shaped
Like I said in another comment on this thread, Roy of Siegfried and Roy thought their lions were friend shaped for many year, until they weren’t. And he isn’t the only person who has been mauled by a domesticated predator who seemed safe for years, until it remember what it was.
Roy Horn was mauled by one of their white tigers, not one of their lions.
They also forced them to travel in cages and perform, so they might not have had gentle or enjoyable lives..
Friend shaped just not friend sized
Cats are very visual animals, they are slaves to their instincts, a quick movement triggers a pounce, as does seeing that you have your back to them.
Those triggers don't apply to a blind cat.
My blind cat didn’t get that memo. Stalks me when I walk, tries to trip me whenever he can, pounces on me when i take steps. Worst thing is he cant see so he has bitten me HARD when play pouncing cause he can’t estimate. Needed antibiotics for that. I wish he got your memo.
If someone messed with that woman, I’m picturing the end of ‘Secondhand Lions’ but even bloodier. And hopefully kitty survives.
Omg I haven't thought about this movie in years. I used to watch it all the time
That is such a good film!
I love it so much, especially the Eric Balfour ending.
Who'd I kill?
It’s just an oversized kitten
I think they prefer to be referred to as big-boned.
They really are. In high-school I got taken on a field trip to one of those awful road side zoos, I bottle fed a baby tiger. Held it in the crook of my arm just like any other kitten. Just a 20 lb kitten. Tiger kitten claws are no joke.
Well, they do have very large murder mittens.
Real talk…how much do you think it costs to feed a full grown tiger??
Probs at least a child a day?
12-60lbs of meat a day, so honestly 1 child is a pretty good metric
And according to late night commercials, you can feed a child for 90 cents per day. Raising a tiger is cheap!
American units of measurements are wild.
I feel like the adoption agencies would start getting suspicious after awhile.
I hope she lives next to an orphanage or that's going to get expensive.
Seems fair.
I was wondering the same. But a few videos like this every now and then would no doubt drum up some donations.
Approximately 20% less than what it takes to feed this one.
Yeah, he chonk
A basic search says about $100 per day for decent quality meat.
$3000 a month to keep a tiger is pretty cheap imo lol
edit: yes I know that it would cost more than $3000 to keep a tiger, this was just a dumb comment on the internet, I'm not actually thinking of getting a tiger
Definitely more than that. You need an enclosure, maintenance of that enclosure (cleaning, repairs), veterinary checkups, possibly security features, government permissions.. definitely insurance.
That’s just food. There’s a lot more to think about to owning a tiger. Like medical upkeep and having to make a huge cage for it, so you would need a lot of land
Such sweet souls, the both of them
When all 32 cats of the cat lady's herd merge their powers together!
all of them orange by how vivid this tigger is.
That might be the most tiger-looking tiger I’ve ever seen
Love ❤️
I wonder if blind tiger cub, assumes that the human that saved also is a tiger?
"Why is my mom speaking french?!" the tiger probably
Whilst we are on the philosophical side of things: I am wondering whether the tiger knows he's blind? As nobody told him (I imagine) he probably would not know others can see, right?
it's hard to say because they clearly smell and feel differences etc, but studies have apparently shown that cats treat their social circle as variations of cats, be that a human or a dog or a rabbit, whereas dogs make a difference between other dogs vs humans
She’s its service human.
I HATE seeing big cats in captivity.
Unless it’s something like this. It had no shot in the wild.
Hi. Guy who worked with tigers and also graduated from a school that taught us about animal nutrition. That's a fat fucking tiger.
God love them both.
That’s a healthy and happy tiger
That tiger is head-butting like a big ol' house cat.
Would learn French for this tiger
A real-life "Tony the Tiger"!
Reminds me more of The Tiger Who Came for Tea
Too many frosted flakes for that chonk
Beautiful chonker
what a beautiful animal...
Fluffiest AND chubbiest tiger I've ever seen! 😍 wow such bond and trust
She calls him "my heart" (Mon coeur) and "my son" (mon fils) if anybody was wondering. Very sweet 🥹
That’s a good human right there! 😊
Beautiful and rightly spoiled😍
Could easily be all over in 10 seconds. No warning.
Yep, that's the issue with wild animals. It's all fun and games until suddenly it's not. Just ask Siegfreid and Roy.
Ever since I got a cat, I love looking at big cats in videos now
It blows my mind how a huge killing machine like a lion and tiger have the exact same mannerisms as my tiny little cat
That's Attilla! He loves camembert cheese :).
Fokin Unit of tiger!
is a nice a kitty 😅😅😅😅😅
You're telling me that isn't AI?
It's worse : a circus breeder scamming tourists by pretending to be sanctuary
Yes

If not friend, then why friend shaped?
What a sweet boy!
I don’t think I wanna be there when kitty decides to make biscuits….
I can only imagine that a blind tiger is less predictable than a seeing tiger. Domesticated lions and tigers are cute and harmless until they’re not. Ask Siegfried and Roy.
Might be blind but that kitty sure can find the food bowl
There's an entire netflix series on why this is a bad idea.
There’s also a netflix movie on a blue tiger who is the derpiest cutie who knocks down vases by accident and is obsessed in putting them back up
Im amazed they didnt use the Thousand Years song
I'm just pissing watching this video
Hey /u/Neramimo,
This is now the top post on reddit. It will be recorded at /r/topofreddit with all the other top posts.
Keep them both safe! <3
Do you think the tiger knows it’s blind?
One fat cat❤️
She better hope she doesn't smell different one day.
