I know some were commenting/concerned about his right foot being forward in one clip, so wanted to post all of them
Now I can sleep at night
My pleasure. I aim to please... and promote r/CHIBears healthy sleep patterns.😆
Caleb's left foot forward: I sleep
Caleb's right foot forward: REAL SHIT
Jesus christ
Caleb listening to SRV? Yeah we're winning the super bowl
No helicopters out of Wi..
Riviera Paradise too, deep cut
I got chills when I heard that. Caleb knows what the fuck is up
The ball just floats out of his hand. Say what you want, kid is just natural thrower of the football
His biggest problem last year, other than the o-line falling apart, was the long ball accuracy. Overthrows were common. Once he tightens that up, he will become a great QB for us. And with Ben Johnson having a better playbook, it'll be a fun time.
And I wont even be worried about the long ball accuracy unless it is a problem this year too. There was talk about how last year receivers would drift from where their route was supposed to go. On a deep ball this can mean they are several yards off. But last years' brain trust would just say "close enough", pat them on the back and give them an orange slice. So its hard to say how off some of those throws actually were vs a WR being in the wrong place. Ben isn't allowing any of that shit, so this season we'll get the real picture of what he can do.
Caleb also had a head coach that prioritized avoiding turnovers. I suspect he threw many passes with the intent of not risking interceptions, which also prevented receptions.
Ahh yes, the great 200/2/0 approach. "just get me 2 TDs, dont turn the ball over and let my defense win the game". Straight out of the 1987 coaching guide.
Don't forget about his footwork. It wasn't emphasized with Waldron. It is with this staff and Caleb's accuracy should benefit from it short, medium and long. Accuracy is so important with the quick game and allowing receivers to YAC.
It's hard not to say "this time will be different" with him but it truly feels like it will. He looks so much more like a natural quarterback than anybody we've had back there in the past decade.
Records are going to be broken
Bears
Caleb going to be fire this season!!
I appreciate the eclectic music selection

You may joke but there will be people who actually believe he overthrew the guy standing still, not realizing there’s another guy behind him
Idk how, you can see the guy behind go for the catch.
First time on the internet? They will see it as filling their narrative 😂😂
He goes for the catch by checks notes running backwards several steps then jumping as the ball lands behind him.
Almost as if it were overthrown...
Behind him? It was like less than a foot in front of a stationary target who dropped the ball after it hit him in the hands.
It hit the target who was supposed to be stationary in the hands after said target stopped being stationary and moved backwards several steps
We must be watching different clips because I only see the receiver moving forward in the first two.

Oh don’t worry I figured you knew and were joking about it! But as I was saying there will be people who don’t see the other guy😂
He overthrew that guy too.
But not by as much as he usually did last season, so that's something
The target was the guy behind the guy holding his arms up like a field goal post. Pretty sure no QB would post his own overthrow.
The guy who had to take three steps back, jump, and still had the ball land behind him?
You mean the guy simulating a d line man?
it was a layered throw to the guy behind him.
Thank you. I wasted my time saying the same thing but after I hit send I remembered this dude is an ultimate Caleb hater from last year.
I find it more concerning he's wearing usc shorts.
I hate my own qb
Maybe find a different team, until you don't... 🤷♀️
That’s ok, everyone here hates you too.
Let me guess, is it the nails thing still?
I just don’t like anything about him. If we’re all honest he’s just not that likable of a personality
I think he’s earned plenty of a likability after last season. He could have been the bitchiest player in the league agter being stuck with Eberflus’ incompetent ass, but he took it all in stride, remained professional, and seems to really be embracing the team and the city this offseason.
Or you could just keep grudges over stupid shit that happened more than a year ago. Either way.
The footwork for shotgun and under center is different - Goff also has his right foot slightly forward when under center. Under shotgun however, he transitioned to left foot forward.
Seems like Caleb is doing the same thing.
Thank you for noting this!
