Kamara at Wrigley

Alvin Kamara threw the first pitch at Wrigley today, confirmed he’ll be a Bear right? I just miss football.

Kamara has no use for the Saints. Toss them a 7th round pick and let him rip in the Navy and Orange

If it was 2026 the saints would probs do that but as is they don't even save 3mil of cap this year by trading him, they'd likely need more than a 7th for such a minor gain. Plus their rookie QB needs as much help as he can get and while kamara is aging he's still effective

It would also cost them another $10m next season. So it’s really not even a minor gain. It’s a full on loss.

Fun fact, Kamara was chosen with our third round pick that we traded to the Niners in 2017 to move up for Trubisky that the Niners then traded to New Orleans. Did we lose that trade? Yes. Did the Niners win that trade? Not really. Taking Solomon Thomas and then Rueben Foster in the first before trading the pick that would become Kamara… they fucked that draft up. New Orleans not only got that third rounder but they were about to draft Foster themselves before the Niners traded up to the pick before them to take him forcing the Saints to take Ramczyck… a future Pro Bowl OT. The Saints were the winners of that trade IMO.

This one stings...but it's hard to imagine Pace would've drafted Kamara with that pick anyway. What's also wild is that the 49ers recent run of success under Shanahan and John Lynch had nothing to do with the Trubisky trade despite it looking like robbery on their part. The Saints won the trade with the 49ers but have been dead in the water since Payton and Brees left.

Even wilder that the Trey Lance trade up was even more of a disaster for them and they still made it to 3 straight NFC championships and barely lost a Super Bowl since then before one down season last year. Well coached teams really can withstand drafting and trade blunders much better, so if Ben is our Shanahan and we're in good hands.

Glass house, white Ferrari, live for New Year's Eve. Sloppy steaks at Truffoni's. Big, rare cut of meat with water dumped all over it. Water splashing around the table makes the night so much more fun. After the club, go to Truffoni's for sloppy steaks. They'd say, "No sloppy steaks." But they can't stop you from ordering a steak and a glass of water. Before you knew it, we were dumping that water on those steaks. The waiters were coming to try and snatch 'em up. We had to eat as fast as we could. Oh, I miss those nights. People can change. I used to be a piece of shit. Spiked up blond hair, little bitty jeans, chicken spaghetti at Chikaleny's. People can change. Let Kamara be a Bear.

If you look up Alvin Kamara on google…. Underneath the first part of the results that shows his age/stats/other saints related stuff you’ll get a ‘See Also’ recommendation from google for Chicago Bears

Not saying it means anything but Im throwing it in here since the thread feels like a clue scavenger hunt on the subject

What? That guy is a POS. Why would the Cubs want to be associated with him?

“Got in a bad fight” is an incredibly generous way of putting it. He and 3 or 4 other guys threw a guy on the ground and beat him into the hospital because he bumped into Kamara trying to get into an elevator.
