So will be spraying our exposed basement ceiling with black dryfall paint and looking for the best way to wipe it down after a bunch of drywall sanding has been done in the open basement room. I’m trying to avoid being on a ladder with a damp rag and whipping every joist and exposed subfloor that’s covered in staples and some nails poking through. It seems like that will take forever and maybe isn’t the most productive way? Thinking of maybe running a box fan with a HVAC filter attached and using a broom to sweep the ceiling really well then maybe using a leaf blower all over it should be enough? I want to make sure the dryfall paint “sticks” and never have done such a job so any advice is appreciated for prep work.
