"Blu tack" stains

(UK based) Hi all, looking to emulsion a wall that has a lot of blue tack marks/stains. Have removed the actual tack. Has anyone used this product or know of anything similar that will cover the grease marks prior ro applying new colour? Have read how to remove spots manually, but there are far too many. TIA
