Boy, that weird curve near the top of the ramp sure does not impart confidence in the structural integrity of this thing, and the lack of a handrail or even a bottom edge was certainly a choice.
Malicious compliance if I ever saw it
or maybe itās for something else and the sign is a joke
That cannot be real. There is nothing to stop a wheelchair from flying off the side once it picks up some speed. The wheelchair accessible sign is a cruel joke.
Iām in an electric wheelchair thatās been able to tackle a lot of weird situations, so yeah, Iād take that on!
Just donāt run out of charge three quarters of the way up!
The descent looks more worrisome to my admittedly uninformed eyes. Can wheelchair brakes handle that long steep section?
Wheeee! Look, Mom! No hands!!
You mean legs
Eh, the person is already in a wheelchair.
Nein
You live dangerously, I like that!
Iāll film š„ it.
You are too brave for your own good!
You are right, it is not real, it is AI generated. Look at where the stairs end on the left. Also, that is a 1 story rise, and 2+ stories worth of stairs.
it isn't ai nor is it a one story rise. It's just a crap construction job by some idiot who decided to do it themselves. I've been on stairs just like this on a few lake houses.
There are 37 stairs, and if you compare it to the house on the right, it appears to rise 1 story.
The left house is obviously build on a hill...
Yes. My point was if you compare the stairs to the house to the right for scale, the rise appears to be 1 story. 37 stairs are a lot of stairs for that much of a rise. There are also odd things going on in the upper left and lower left parts of the photo.
The ramp along reaches up to the second floor. The stairs are even higher. It's cringe to claim everything is Ai sloppa if you can't even into simple perspective.
Whee! (On the way down to your final resting place.) But first youād have to get up there.
Also nice of them not to include any railings to hold on to if you are in a wheelchair. I'm sure that 1 inch border on the side of the ramp will most definitely not allow a chair to tip into the void below.
Wheelchair ārampā needs a winch
That wheel chair better have 4 wheel drive and some serious brakes on it..It is hazardous to even think about Using it in the first place...That looks like a dangerous kid slide from a playground of the 60s.... Wow....
This is excellent proof that sufficient incompetence is indistinguishable from malice
What code compliance looks like when there are no inspectors.
And then it looks like the bottom of the ramp sinks under the lower walkway in a way that would create a bump?? It disappears in a way that almost makes me suspect AI but is very possibly just more shitty construction.
Also why does the lowest step of the stairs randomly extend off to the side?? And the newel post stops at that step instead of the floor?
Def thinking this is AI, now.
The stairs have a triangular brace on the left side every 6th step to hold up the railing, the bottom step is part of that pattern. If this is machine generated then it's the best fake I've ever seen by a mile, pretty sure it's someone saying 'fuck you' to their local code enforcement.
a triangular brace on the left side every 6th step to hold up the railing
Ooh I actually didn't notice that; thanks for pointing it out!
The picture is real, sign is not. Very old meme, apparently
This ^
Something about the cast aside PVC, foliage, and text makes me believe this is real. But I didn't take the picture.
Dude. Ever heard of malicious compliance?
Thatās a lot of fucking work for malicious compliance man, and even IF the kind of absolute assholes existed that would go through all of that just to NOT install wheelchair ramps (???) it donāt think this even falls within the defenition.
anyway itās AI (see OP)
I think that is the personal wheelchair of Evel Knieval. All others, ride at your own risk.
With a nice bonus of slick tree goop embedded in there.
I donāt think the average wheelchair could fit on that
Maybe they have a winch and a hook?
And for the cherry on top itās wet š šāØ
Somebody is adventurous!
Huiiiiiii
I want a button to toggle them
This is fineā¦until a wheelchair comes along.
When wheelchair grandma got a lot of money and you're the only living grandchild.
Rip off the sign, polish it, & use it as a slide.
Maybe the sign means, sliding there will break ya leg
Imagine moving a wheelchair upwards on a rainy day
Also no railing on the top landing, so if you fall down those top stairs you also get to slide down the ramp!
