She’s been demoted to “Emergency Food”
Once the shades find out her new nickname, they either will be dissapointed on her or die of laughing
And "Gold" will be like, "How did she separate them again?"
Can't be worse than if they find out that Asmoday was literally found Drowning in a lake
While being capable of flying
I'm more concerned about how they are gonna be playable considering we only have 7 elements and I don't think gods use any elements from that as their power. Pierro is gonna die in Nod Krai as scheme from gods prolly from traveller's hands or Travelers gonna shake hands with tsaritsa against heavenly principles.
They'll probably use the same excuse skirk does and imitate an element to "blend in"
There's also the fact they made the element system in the first place so they could just use them anyway.
Lol I completely forgot about that, actually now that you put it that way, maybe they'll dual wield elements?
The only one who could dual wield elements is Naberius, (hydro and dendro) but honestly I think she’s more likely to wield hydro,
So Naberius = hydro Ranova = pyro Istroath = anemo And asmoday = geo
Which sucks because I want them all to be playable and to put them all in one team
They didn't made the element system. It was always there to begin with. The Genshin universe is separated into two layers, the Light Realm where Vishaps harness the elemental energy, and the Void Realm AKA the Abyss.
The Seven Sovereigns ruled the Light Realm and used pure elemental energy, until PO appeared and defeated them, eventually putting the Human Realm between the two realms, creating the three realms we know today. Elemental energy comes from the light realm, while Abyssal Energy comes from the Void realm.
If anything, they just made a system from a pre-existing system.
I could easily see Ronova(Pyro), Naberius(Hydro) Istaroth (Anemo or Cryo) or something like that.
Traveler Will eat paimon and power up goes brrrrrr
They can't get a schedule for her to do some Photo op because she is busy eating some Sweet Madame & Sticky Honey Roast 🤣🤣🤣.
She is enjoying that vacation
I mean she is literally traveling now in blissful ignorance
Paimon origins been arguably one of the biggest mysteries since the beginning of the game.
"Loves her new master more than herself." Yea Paimon always mentions how she loves Traveler more than Paimon herself
Atleast it'd explain why Paimon was so mean sometimes, shades do quite have an ego
You can say she was very shady eh.....
Ok I'll see myself out ...
Can the real Shady please stand up...
No no please stay Cyno
I'll never understand why these dad jokes make me laugh
Perhaps Paimon is a character like Tom Bombadill, part of Teyvat and simultaneously an independent entity of her own.
Nah, paimon is the heavenly principle. She's not just awakened yet
That's what they said...
Asmoday is the shade of space, not the heavenly principles
Spymon, there's something sus about paimon.
Paimon literally controls space by guarding map borders
Wonder what caused Asmoday to become Paimon
I'm wagering on some kind of loophole to escape the heavenly principals.
Lose her memories and power down to childlike form so she's not bound, or something like that.
i,e Nahida's Case.
Pretty much. Might turn out to have been a hint.
Which would have been hinted since Guoba's backstory
Love at first sight with traveler 🥰🥰🥰
What if it's actually the traveler playing the long con and actually managed to overwrite Asmoday in that cubic battle
Maybe she wanted to witness travelers journey.
Like Light did in Death Note?
You mean Ryuk? Then idk, it's just a theory
If this theory holds true, I imagine it would happened when they both collided in the final scene. Remember how she sort of opened her eyes in surprise as traveller was hitting her with that energy ball before she overtook him?
Maybe something happened there
Maybe sealing the traveler's power had some side effects? Or maybe the abyss twin had a hand in it.
she is 'missing' and 'loving her new master'. Her new master could be something else orrrrrrrrrrr
The Traveler. Meaning she IS really Paimon all along.
Does Paimon sees traveler as her Master? or her Companion?
It doesn't particularly matter what Paimon thinks, it's the Shades that would see a Master-Servant dynamic if they are indeed talking about them. I recall that Paimon is referred to as Traveller's 'familiar' by random people, so if that's the impression that's given off, perhaps it makes sense why the Shades would see Traveller as a master?
Shouldn't they see traveler as a pet instead? lol. Asmoday sealed their powers and toyed around with them and separated them. Im sure the shades know what happened. It makes more sense to me if they, the shades looked at the situation as if Asmoday is playing around with her prey/someone that's weaker than them instead of being their servant no?
No ? That would be blasphemous to think about. Phanes is a descender, and so is the traveller. Thinking of a descender as a pet would be wierd at least and/or irrrevencious at most.
being a descender isn't necessarily a god status lol. Phanes IS a god towards the Shades as he created them. Are you saying the shades treats the other descenders with reverence? No, they treat them as an intruder instead and fought them off. Just like they did with the 2nd and 3rd, 4th one, the traveler , isn't any different. That's why Asmoday sealed their power and separates them apart. what's weird is thinking that Asmoday go ahead and become paimon to "serve" the ones she sealed the powers off as her Master lmao.
Not necessarily a God status. Yeah, for sure! Not deference," respect" would be mote fitting. There's no saying that they didn't treat the other descenders with respect, even if they killed them. True I fail to see why she would become our closest one after all of that. Or, perhaps? Guiltripping the traveler into helping defeat the abyss?
This isn’t really true because if the third descender is actually Nibelung (strongly implied to be) they wouldn’t respect him
the 3 talking about if Asmoday switching side and how she now loves her new master ... bruh this scream Paimon is so loyal to Lucifer(Aether) thory again.
Paimon being Asmoday actually makes sense since Traveler is the only one who can use teleport waypoints.
Also, having control of space means she can literally pop in and out of existance at will. Which she does.
Paimon determines where the traveller can go, literally creating a space the traveller can move in with the world border
waypoints are wonky lore because they say in the description of the portable waypoint that vision holders can use them to teleport but the akademiya doesn't know the side effects
also in golden apple paimon and the others actually adress a teleporting waypoint, they say it looks like a portable one and they might be able to use it to light up the area
how abt the 5.7 quest? who was it then listening to us? like is paimon , a fragment of asmoday?
paimon lore ig
WHY DOES THE TAG SAYS "OFFICIAL MEDIA"?
IMPASTA?? JUST LIKE PAIMON?
She eats da noodles currently
people who are saying paimon is asmoday are falling for a red herring
paimon is the heavenly principles not yet woken up
yes she can teleport but she can also change time and bring characters back to life (you think the egg makes them respawn ? you actually feed paimon the egg and she revives the character)
paimonial rage ? more like primordial rage
Yeah there's some ground to the theory paimon is like a combination of all 4 shades, not just one. But then who could be this 'new master' they're talking about 🤔
Potentially the Abyss. She is corrupted on one arm in the beginning of the game.
It makes me think of fusion rules in Steven Universe; hear me out.
Gems are physical, 3D holographic humanoid aliens. They can merge their physical forms to create a new Gem. This Gem is the sum of the Gems that make it up. It's a fun way to play with Plato's theory of conceptual conversion.
In the show, it's made very clear that this third entity is seperate from the two (or however many) Gems that make it up. All the Gems, even the ones that make up the fused Gem, refer to the fused Gem as though she's her own entity. When they are not fused, that entity still conceptually "exists", because that entity is just the shape that their relationship to one another takes form as. It's just basically like that entity is away on vacation until the Gems that make it up decide to fuse again. There's also several perma-fused characters that are fused for so long that if they choose to unfuse for a good length of time, it can be seen as akin to a sort of break up or death, depending on how long the split occurs.
What if Paimon is just the conceptual leftovers from who they all are when they're fused as one being? Paimon is where that entity "goes" when it "doesn't exist".
The Abyss Princess
"Shade of Space" Amosday:
No! For the last time, Paimon is NOT EMERGENCY FOOD!
is it ever confirmed that Asmoday share the same VA as Kiana in HI3rd? that would be announced in JP if they ever post Asmoday
Yes, both are voiced by Rie
Yep, yep. Same VA.
At this point it’d be more of a twist if Paimon wasnt connected to Asmoday in some way
wym she's with us all along
She’s pretty much gone AWOL
Traveler Rizz so strong they pull girls while unconscious and imprisoned for 500 years.
Just like me fr
WHAT IF Asmoday is Columbina? The new master is cryo archon, while columbina being Tsaritsa's weapon against celestia, so they must "retrieve" her at all costs? And Paimon being...the heavenly principles?
She's been too busy working as a part-time guide, and full-time emergency food under a different identity, so she won't show up as Asmoday anytime soon.
She has already been teased. Paimon
Seems like the Asmoday=Paimon theory pretty much confirmed. Asmoday losing most of her power and regressing into the Paimon form is pretty much a plausible explanation. She is just recovering her lost power by "helping" the Traveler during their journey with an ulterior motive.
They have been teasing her as the game’s app icon for long enough smh.
True but we know she is more important than the shades
I think asmoday is columbina and pierro knows this and his plan to is to kill columbina to see what happens
So is Asmoday not gonna be playable
I think she's inside the traveler similar to R and naberius
to add to the crackhead theory, after sealing the traveler and the sibling, she may have lost some of her powers and then fully lost them by the time of the cataclysm and entered a slumber which then she met the traveler
I mean that's probably what they're gonna do since we have two instances of gods permanently losing power due to investing it in feats they otherwise wouldn't be able to do. So perhaps the full power siblings needed her to give up a decent chunk of power to depower?
We have Asmoday at home.
Does traveler have their powers sealed inside them or is it possible for paimon to be the catalyst that holds/seals their power.
In that way, there will come a point where paimon must merge/disappear for traveler to gain their full power back. And the power that sustains the seal comes from asmodeus herself, like an upside down balloon(seal) with a string(power source) attached.
Just a thought I had after watching and reading.
Got turned into coughing baby
She's missing because, well, she's missing
So if asmoday is paimon and asmo is a shade does that mean paimon is a shade of a shade. The shadow of a shadow, and shadows die twice...
She needs a prosthetic arm.
Paimon isn't beating the Asmoday allegations lmao
"How about we explore the area ahead of us later?"
Yeah cause Asmoday is traveling with her new master all over Teyvat! God forbid a woman likes to travel!
Nope paimon can’t be asmoday,
For one they both have demon names and so far no one god has had multiple deamon names or even been able to change it
and Paimon is the most loyal to lucifer (Phanse), while asmoday seems to have gone rouge,
I think paimon is actually the daughter of phanse and one of the moon sisters, Due to all her similarities with both the shades and the moon sisters
We've known her for 5 years she's literally the first character we've seen in game together with the MC twins. I think they would be 5 years late with the teaser there.
I expect that when she does appear again, and Mihoyo gives her a glow up or something, people would start saying it wasn't that bad that she separated the twins or something like that.
"That's right! Your fortune is Paimon's fortune! And vice versa, Paimon's fortune is also your fortune."
"You might be only one of countless stars, but you're Paimon's whole world!"
Combined with:
"What if she just switched sides? Finding her would do more harm than good"
""Just switched sides?" You make it sound like such a trivial affair. We are Shades, Shadows of the Heavenly Principles, it's unthinkable... unless... she loves her new master more than her own self..."
Is such a perfect line-up to Paimon being Asmoday that it seems too easy/simple an answer. We have never had a character change demonic/Ars Goetia names before – I think Paimon being Asmoday is a red herring.
This has been a lot more fuel for the "Asmoday is Paimon" theorists.
Like new master, they dropped too much hints
But paimon doesn't see traveler as a master
The shades are outsider viewers to their relationship. To them, it looks like Paimon is just following the traveler, and can't probably grasp the concept of friendship between them.
Maybe, but gold definitely would have corrected them. Its not like she doesn't know how relationships works
Does she? She doesn't exactly strike me as someone who does.
Or maybe she just doesn't care enough about the Shades to say anything.
Even if they didn't understand, they are searching for Asmoday in the trailer and do not know her current whereabouts. Why would they need to search for her when they could just come to us in Teyvat? Are you telling me the rulers of life, death and time are incapable of checking on the super suspicious blonde traveler and their flying companion but somehow have knowledge of other things like the Tsaritsa's plan? That's like the first thing I would think they would have checked. Surely they could at the very least take a peak at us when they seem aware of other things that are going on within Teyvat and be like oh shit there she is if Paimon was actually Asmoday or even if they somehow didn't recognize them at least go "hey this unknown flying creature we dont recognize and is unknown to us with design features similar to our own sure is a bit fucking suspicious we should investigate"
I mentioned it in another comment but I was thinking Paimon/Asmoday is hiding the Traveler from their notice. Cause if they knew a Descender was about, I feel like they would've mentioned it during the trailer. But it seems like they don't even realize one of the golden haired travelers Asmoday struck down WAS a Descender.
How would they even know Asmoday has a "new master" at all in that case? And if they knew it was Traveler, why would they deem loyalty to him as "switching sides" when it's not at all clear Traveler is opposed to the HP?
But there's someone we DO know is opposed to the HP. And she has a number of people working for her, one of whom popped in right after Asmoday's "new master" was mentioned.
They don't know Asmoday has a new master, it's just speculation on their part. Also, you can't seriously be trying to imply that the Fatui, who's entire goal is seemingly to basically pull a Khaenri'ah 2: Electro Boogaloo and revolt against the gods, are using a god to do so. That'd be such a lazy ass reveal and go against what's pretty much the entire point of them.
But surely Ronova would have noticed during the whole “stopping Mauvika from suiciding event” at the end of Natlan. Both Paimon and Traveler were there after all.
1: She was focused on aforementioned "stopping Mavuika from killing herself" event
2: There's no reason to suspect that if Asmoday/Paimon put some kinda spell on Traveler that made them imperceptible to the Shades that it'd suddenly not work just because a Shade happens to exist in the same general vicinity. I also doubt while Ronova was there for business she was looking for Asmoday. She was probably like "aw goddammit, gotta deal with business, be right back, we can continue the search later."
The trailer seems to take place in present day, given Pierro and the Fatui are carrying out the Palestar Edict, which we know is a recent thing, and yet the Shades are still searching in Asmoday's 'spaces' for her. It seems to me the idea she's on Teyvat itself never even occurred to them prior to the idea that 'switched sides' came up
I just don't think it checks out at all once you put it under scrutiny. First reason is they know that she has a "master" which would at least to me imply they know who the master is or at least have some idea, and if Asmoday is Paimon they would know it was us. Second reason is they are searching for her, and if they know who her master is and that its us....what reason do they have to be searching for her? We aren't exactly hidden we are wandering around Teyvat and getting up to some pretty high profile shit that should definitely be under their gaze. Third is how they discussed her situation, "what if she switched sides", "better than to be devoured", we aren't really on a side opposite from the shades but we also aren't really on their side, even so I don't think her being Paimon would really be considered switching sides and the devoured line doesn't really track at all outside of funny haha emergency food memes. To me at least it seems that they are implying she is essentially being held under someone's influence somewhere potentially against her will. They used the term better than to be "devoured" when talking about her situation which is reminiscent of what Rhinedottir did with Naberius. Rhinedottir "devoured" the heart of Naberius and merged with her becoming one being. Using that term the way they did when talking about Asmoday feels very intentional and just makes me think someone has Asmoday in a similar situation where they are forcing her to do their bidding or they will "devour" her heart and just assume control like Rhinedottir did with Naberius.
Might even be the abyss twin who is the new master
The biggest flaw with your interpretation is that they DON'T know she has a master. If you rewatch the trailer, it's just them speculating after being unable to find Asmoday
That is because her new "master" is Master Diluc.
Or the legendary angler of Chenyu Vale, Master Baiter
This is fuel for my crack theory that Asmoday is head-maid Adelinde. Their names even start with the same letter!
The 3 shades telling she has a "New Master" can also mean that her Master isn't theirs anymore (the Heavenly Principles).
So of course she won't bother attending to their mandatory Teams meeting when she can slack and get free food.
I see what you did there -_- lol
And the whole "switch sides" comment too, the Traveler isn't currently opposed to the Heavenly Principles
Well considering the Traveler is a descender and was confronted by the Heavenly Principles the moment they set foot in Teyvat I wouldn't say they're allies either.
Descenders have the will to change the fate/rules of Teyvat and the current rules are set by The Heavenly Principles so that implies direct confrontation.
They weren't confronted by the hp. They were confronted by the shade of space
No, but Asmoday sees Phanes as their master, and if Phanes has changed forms and seemingly abandoned their own heavenly principles to accompany the Traveler..............
Phanes didn't change forms. The shades explicitly said that the HP is asleep. My guess is that asmoday is now following the abyss twin
And this isn't even a hint. Ronova herself said it was just a suspiscion. Nothing concrete.
There was always fuel, ever since the beginning of the game. Like why is Paimon so eeriely similar to Asmoday? Why does no one question the existence of this fairy that we fished out despite nothing in Teyvat looking like it? Why does Enjoy say she might betray us? Etc etc.
This is more of a soft confirmation if anything. I would be more surprised if Paimon isn't Asmoday.
The main problem was really the name. Asmodeus and Paimon are two different demon names which suggests they're two different people.
But with Venti(Barbatos) and Istaroth being even more heavily connected now, it could be a similar situation to that.
Venti and Istaroth aren't the same person, it's not the same as Paimon and Asmoday.
Not saying it necessarily proves anything but Venti and Istaeoth share the same VA’s in ALL languages and I find it very hard to believe that would be one big coincidence
That's because they're closely related which has been known for years now, he's one of her children.
That doesn't support the Conscious Decision to have Venti's VA SPECIFICALLY in ALL Languages to be the same for Istaroth. Its definitely Intentional.
It's definitely intentional, but there's basically nothing in game remotely implying that Venti and Istaroth are the same person, however him being one of her children again Is practically all but confirmed.
What does being a “child” of a shade even mean?
I think you’re looking at it too strictly and think its some kind of regular human parent-child relationship but they are completely distinct people.
We don’t actually know the details of their connection. Hell, the original line Venti drops doesn’t even refer to Istaroth directly and could be interpreted entirely metaphorically. That’s looking less and less to be the case now but my point its all very vague right now.
Venti is "Full of mystery, born from the branches of time. A history of glory and sorrow, and witness to the divine." As his demo puts it. Istaroth is referred to as The Thousand Winds, and Venti only a wisp of the Thousand Winds.
Considering that the two were worshiped as separate gods by the people of Mondstadt, I think it's more likely that Venti is a fragment of Istaroth. An aspect of the Shade of Time. Two separate people, while also being the whole. A relationship that can be compared to parent and child
This is copied from another comment I made recently, coincidentally, but
There's already precedent for a being born from the 'Thousand Winds' being described as their child, so Venti being described as Istaroth's son is not that crazy. I don't think it's literally giving birth but it's clear the game wants you to view their relationship as parent and child
I'm not getting what you're trying to say, yes they are completely distinct people, that's what I said on my past three comments.
Albedo is Rhinedottir's, and yet they don't share a VA.
For a pretty obvious reason..? Venti has three women voice acting him and one dude with insane range, do you really think it's about this? Beside Wind and Time is also connected throughout the game lore, it's not the same as Albedo and Rhine.
Huh?
You replied to the comment above you that Venti's one of her (Istaroth's) children, that's why they sound similar/have the same VA, and I said that that's not the case with Albedo and his mother/creator Rhinedottir. So... What are you talking about?
Are you slow? Why do you think they could do it with Venti but not Albedo?
Or she just gave herself a new name after becoming Paimon
You can just do that?
Technically we don't know. Rukka and Nahida might've had two different demon names for all we know, we're just not aware of what Rukka's was.
Paimon is def sus but I doubt she will betray us in a "Fuck u I'm evil and serve Celestia" but more in the "I must do this. Is for you safety, please forgive me." kind of way. She cares a lot about the traveler and is even anxious of she isn't near him.
The traveler themselves is nothing like anything in Teyvat.
We break the basic rules of elemental magic in Teyvat, we shrug off abyssal corruption, and we are practically a fairytale hero in 4 nations.
All things considered, Paimon being a floating mascot is genuinely not that big a deal.
Because a lot of strange and unusual things exist all across teyvat. I'll bet that the simplest explanation is "she must be some creature some other nation that i haven't been to" for most people in universe. Many things have been lost to time as well, so the strange really isn't that strange at all.
Except for a lot of things, there are at least records of it and similar creatures. Paimon is a unique creature on her own. Nothing even comes close to looking like her. Not one character just asked Paimon "what are you?".
She's got like a version of the spell skirk uses so people forget her but it makes it so people ignore any inconsistencies without her existance.
but some beings can see through it. like that one melusine said she looked like a balloon that had a string that extended all the way into the sky.
This is like, the definition of "a wizard did it". Literally the laziest, most convenient ass-pull they could come up with.
Nah its been established before it can be done so it wouldnt be an asspull
Because that's kinda just a bit rude. She's still a person, not an object, so people treat her as a person.
It's also like, not really important to most people. "That traveller has a weird fairy companion. Well anyway i need you to find this McGuffin in a cave because . . . "
Records can get lost to time
People all across teyvat keep referring to her as fairy, so she mustn't be that unique.
I mean have you seen any other fairy? I was always under the impression that Paimon must've used some BS magic to make people NOT question her existence, including the gods.
Like even Ronova doesn't really recognize Paimon despite being confronted during the finale of the Natlan AQ, and we know the Shades are at least looking for Asmoday. So the fact that she doesn't even question Paimon feels more like some sort of force is influencing everything rather than them not being bothered to question Paimon.
Albedo questions her existence.
Xiangling has guoba, whose appearance had been forgotten to time. No one questions the weird bear.
Fischl has Oz, even people meeting her for the first time (who don't know it's a vision manifestation) don't question his existence.
Paimons existence only seems strange from an outside perspective. A floating child really isn't that unusual in context of everything else in teyvat.
Albedo can be chalked up to be naturally curious which is in line with his work as an alchemist. Whether or not he's suspicious of Paimon remains to be seen.
Guoba and Oz aren't that weird compared to Paimon. Oz is ultimately a bird, so a talking one isn't as out of the ordinary as people might think. At least birds exist, and in Liyue, three of their adeptus are talking birds so there exists a point of reference for others. Guoba follows the same line of thinking. Since he was found in Liyue, he could just be an adeptus. Everyone knows that adeptus can take on other forms. Hell, their God can take on other forms. Madame Ping is an adeptus, and she just chooses to look like an old lady. Guoba can be the same case if he was from Liyue.
Paimon was fished out of the sea, and nothing looks or acts like her. There is no point of reference to make. That alone makes her existence suspicious because every region has their own creature types. With Mondstadt, those are wind spirits, wolves, and dragons. In Liyue, it's adeptis. In Inazuma, it's mostly Youkais. In Sumeru, they're the Dendro Archon's companions. In Fontaine, it's the Melusines and in Natlan, they're Dragonfolks. Paimon doesn't fit into any of these, so no one questioning who or what she ultimately is beyond the surface level is suspicious as hell.
That's the point where we need to step back and remember the difference between "what we as the player know about teyvat" and "what the people in the world of teyvat know about teyvat".
The average Teyvat inhabitant doesn't know every magical creature like the player does. Most of them will barely know the full extent of their own nations magical creatures.
Traveller always introduces themselves as "a traveller". So my interpretation has always been, that people are content with assuming that Paimon is simply just some creature that traveller picked up in some far-away land somewhere else.
I don't think a levitating child is really that much stranger than a small bear adepti or a talking electro bird
The thing is, most of the creatures we do meet are something that other people have also seen or known. The wolves and Dvalin? Literally guardians of Mondstadt that people have seen and know worked with the Anemo Archon. Hell, there's a corpse of a dragon just south of Mondstadt.
Adeptis? Have always appeared during Liyue's time of need and even then, Zhongli appeared as a dragon yearly before he ultimately retired. Every Liyue citizen knows this. Inazuma? Youkais are part of society. Hell, a high ranking officer of the government, and the Miko of the nation are literal Youkais. People have seen, heard, and know they exist. Sumeru? Yeah, people don't see the Aranara as adults, but they're still in folklore. Other creatures like Liloupar are inscribed into legends, and the people have seen the Pari and even worked with them. Fontaine? Melusines are part of society. Natlan? Saurians are descendants of ancient Dragonfolks, and they're partners to humans.
Most creatures that we do meet are something that are either inscribed into legends, folklore, or something that everyone knows, and sometimes stories spread. Take Chongyun for example. He doesn't know what an actual Youkai looks like, but he knows they exist through stories. This applies to a lot of people. Some people may have blindspots, but you mean to tell of the countless people we do meet, including Gods, no one bothered to really question who or what Paimon actually is?
I've said it a few times before now
In the beta, instead of an opening action sequence, we get an opening text scroll about how we woke up to seeing our twin chained an impaled, and then after 500 years, the spatial prison we were in opened for some unknown reason, but that the only thing that mattered would be to find the god who took our sibling from us.
Those were the (paraphrased) final words of the scroll.
It then literally opens up to Paimon waking up the traveler, with us seeing her face up close in first person.
It seems so obvious that it almost feels like obvious misdirection.
Either her identity is somehow not the big reveal they have planned (e.g., her actions will be the real shocker somehow) or everyone is missing some key detail that ruins the theory.
Or I'm thinking too much, idk.
Yeet the child before she transforms and turns us into rubix cubes again?
But she loves us :(
That's why we must do it eventually :c it gives me no joy to do so
i find it so funny that after all the theories about paimon they seem to be heading for the most common one since the start of the game haha
Lemme cook: Asmoday reborn as Paimon, new master is the traveller (Hence why she is 'missing' cause she is travelling with us). Paimon can eat a lot but the food is not digested => Can store as many food as she want cause she is god of space => Emergency Food, can vomit whatever food you need....uhhh so her stomach is kinda like Doraemon's 4D pocket if you ask me
we know canonically that she has a limit of food. In Varesa's sq she couldn't beat Varesa Challenge, but maybe she was faking to not get attention/suspicions
She also keeps everything she owns in her shoes... somehow
Can appear and reappear with the pause menu.
Zeppan da
She's like a certain tuna from another Hoyo game.
Imagine if her adult form looks just like Kiana and we realize we have had the Tuna expy from day 1...
If it actually happened I'm gonna go broke.
I mean, Asmoday already looks a lot like HoV/Kiana in the OP's picture.
Maybe she eats a lot to restore her power
Though is she? In 5.7 we literally see Asmoday's portal leaving.
During the cataclysm, and in a moment where Paimon happens to be absent.
Are we ignoring the lore that she is one of the moon sisters?
That wouldnt make sense since Istaroth talked to us in Sumeru she would have been aware of Paimon no?
Enough evidence to be on same level again as being the new moon
"a lot more" is putting it mildly. I personally thought it was a fun theory but unlikely but not anymore. Now I would be more surprised if it turns out to be wrong after all.
