I imagine it's doing the same thing Winter Night's Lazzo did, where it's immediately top five, but takes a bit before it hits number 1 (and Lazzo did hit number 1 for a bit).
Edit: it's a little bit after 3 pm est, and most people don't get up early unless they have to, so I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of players are only now getting an opportunity to see that it was released.

I think people belive Lazzo was better because they were not familiar with Hoyos game at the time and how they can drop a massive lore bomb out of nowhere
And now while yes unexpected, but we still knew that was a possibility since now we are familiar with how Hoyo does things.
I would rate this one higher than Lazzo simply by the fact of revealing SHADES and seeing Nod-Krai.
But imo I think they are on the same level
I personally like Lazzo better because of the mystery winter night vibe, along with Columnbinaâs haunting singing voice that went well with the music. But judging from production and information given out alone this one takes a win. Also W for Istaroth reveal.
Yeah, Lazzo is just too iconic. The singing, the winter vibe, the copypasta and jokes that were born from it.
If we talk purely production value and general lore, This one is far superior to me. But if we talk how iconic it is, Lazzo should be the one to take the W
Also Istaroth thinks she is slick. Actively helped people multiple times behind HPs back and now acting all prim and proper(also Ronova being the stickler for the rules, yet also the one who did a deal with Xbalanque behind HPs back. It seems her loyalty is more out of fear then anything)
Somehow I feel like Isatata will be the most twisted of them all. She seems serene and quiet but the way she messes with time just to kill time is also a red flag in itself . And the way Enka people feared her even though she was the only god who stayed with them.
All of them shades are sus as hell
Makes you wonder what is their true agenda?
Are they really loyal to HP or just fear them?
And finally, how much of a best HP truly was if they actively split into them four and yet still were able to beat Nibelung(twice) and still to this day they uphold the fake sky.
I am so hyped for Nod-Krai itâs crazy.
I imagine it due to âreachabilityâ in terms of story relevance. Shades are a big deal, but they are so big of a deal (on a broad scale) that itâs hard to connect them to events the player experiences first hand. The shades have gotten direct mentions, connections, and interactions, but itâs relatively recent.
The Harbingers in Lazzo benefited a lot from the player knowing about Childe, Dottore, and Signora since the game came out. This familiarity combined with seeing the rest of their team generates a lot of hype.
This is probably bigger for Genshin fans, but I would say the Lazzo would resonate more with people that know little about Genshin.
This is personally higher that Lazzo for me for the amount of information given and how this likely will be relevant all the way up to the endgame of the plot
What made Lazzo special was that it was the first of its kind and basically kickstarted most of the fan theories. This one though is on a whole another level, animation and lore wise
the thing is, no one expected them to actually drop Shades Lore, what people were expecting was a Hexenzirkel Teaser, considering they are in NK.
i love both Lazzo and this Teaser, but imo this one is just better.
I will always have lazoo as the nr1 trailer across all Hoyoverse and nothing will change that, it gave us closure on Signora and teased the goats, although Pierro aurafarming got me real hyped first time since Natlan released.
To be fair, as someone who hasn't really deep-dived into the lore other than playing the game for 4 years, I saw this last night, and was like "Oh shit, I HAVE to watch this, don't I?"
It was hype as hell.

I think the Hexenzirkel are the next ones, Alice was already shown and we have to wait to see Nicole in her Human form
While sovereign one would be great, I don't think it would create that much hype given that we are talking about literal dragons. They won't appear in humanoid version for obvious reasons. If anything, I would expect such cutscene in game at best.

Still Winter Night Lazzo was better. As someone that doesn't care about lore that much, at least i understood the hype about seeing all harbingers, when we had only seen five so far is you count manga Dottore and silhouette Pulcinella. Meanwhile they just tried to drop some biblically accurate angel horror in Natlan out of the left field and now they show us her, Rinedoth (ok this one is kind of understandable hype considering Albedo and mini Durin) and the shade of life. Haven't even done the last story quest just because of how tiresome the Dain quests become, so this lore thing video is even more unimpressive in comparison to the Night Lazzo.
So itâs bad because you donât get it? For people who are into lore this is by far the biggest lore drop.
Not even for lore people, it's a big lore drop for anyone who plays the game.
Natlan AQ elaborated to what shades are. We encountered Ronova (Natlan AQ), the recent monstadt AQ mentioned Gold devouring Naberius, and our twin mentioned Istaroth messing with the time in the dain quest . All of which happened in the mainline quests.
I can't see how the video was a surprise.

Not everyone that plays the game, plays it for the lore. Personally i play it for the characters i meet along the way. And that's because the starting plot that was leaving with the brother got repetitive. We met him on multiple occasions and that dumb ass continues to do his stuff without explaining shit to us. Besides why would i read wall of text for characters i have never met in the first place? At least in the world quests we see NPCs and interact with them. We have the "word" in what's happening. So far I loved the Aranara quest line, enjoyed my time with Jeth and Jebrael, and liked getting everyone from the ordo organisation together, because although it had bits of lore, i was able to talk with the NPCs to understand it better. Probably didn't understand the full picture unlike some people, but the interaction was there. Unlike the shades lore being hidden in god knows where in text format.Â
If you donât care for the lore how can you make a quality statement about whatâs good and whatâs bad? Itâs like watching lord of the rings while being on the phone and at the end you say âwell I didnât like the part where Gandalf shows up to ride with the rohirrim. I donât get whatâs so special about it. The part where Gandalf and bilbo smoke weed is way better. â even though you didnât even pay attention.

broski, this Teaser is literally important for anyone that plays the game, you don't even have to be a lore reader to understand what the Shades are talking about.

I doubt that we will have a Nazzo for the Hexe, we arleady know Rhine, Alice and Nicole will probably appear in Nod Krai and some of them are death.
I hope Nicole in GI is an expy of Nicole in ZZZ, seriously, that would be the most hillarious thing ever for players of both games.
Nicole is the expy of Zhongli.
They are both broke, and both have a history that they are not telling us.
One is outside of Teyvat, one is a floating crystal, one is a shade, the other two are completely unknown beyond their names. It sounds unlikely
