"How do you tell the difference between Voteless and Citizens?!"
"Anyone who runs is a Voteless! Anyone who doesn't run is a well-disciplined Voteless! HAHAHA, isn't war hell?!"
"How can you shoot civilians, SEAF?"
"Easy! You just don't lead 'em so much! HAHAHAHA!"
The Stalwart currently my go to weapon on the botfront. This thing is the definition of accuracy via volume.
Where i will always love the stalwart. I much more prefer the mg43 over the stalwart. Supply back heavy machine gun feels awesome to
Lib Pen with supply pack and Cinderblock/Roadblock armor for extra ammo on the Bot front is peak
wish they add skin weapon which change the visual of support weapons not the stat itself
I want to hold that Buzzsaw man...
The mg43 is my favorite of the mg´s, but mowing down berserkers at 1150rpm is just so satisfying.
Stalwart is great for bot heads but the MG and HMG give you more against non-weakspots and enemies like Gunships that require med-pen.
But 1000rpm Stalwart with sound mods is peak Helldivers neuron activation
I always dismissed the Stalwart, but I think it would've helped last time when I was surrounded and eaten by hoppers
Did you even stop to consider brrrrrrrrrrt?
Theres always time to learn
“Anyone who runs is a Voteless! Anyone who stands is a well-disciplined Voteless!”
my shock trooper build, the stalwart set to max fire rate, the liberator backpack, light armor (jungle armor for stability passive or the one for faster reload), a Gatling turret, and a 500 KG bomb, secondary is grenade pistol, swap our primary and grenades to deal with whatever enemy you are fighting, and the improved stims as the booster.
Enjoy running head first into every enemy encounter and sending so many bullets down range you will win most times.
You can use the heavy MG if you use the viper commando armor, the ergonomic buff let's you swing it around to snap onto targets with ease
Last night on some bug drops I used an upgraded Knight, Stalwart, and Lib-Dog and racked up an obscene amount of kills, it was GREAT FUN essentially just going BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRTTT HAHAHAHAHAAA!!! for the entire run as waves of filthy bug goop splattered all over my face.
I got chopped into burger by the bugs last night even with the Stalwart, problem was I didn't have a lib dog and my buddies complained when they got between my K-9 and its meat.
Yeah, when you use the K9, get TF away from your team. Go to a side objective or something. Otherwise you're a traitorous fuck
It’s me, I’m mfers
I don’t even know what else to bring anymore, I’m lost in a stalwart trance
I think someone should write a story about you sometimes.
Stalwart is just the mp-98 knight but with WAY more ammo. The ammo reserve is literally the only issue on the 98.
Or the carbine! Good ol drum magazine…
I like comboing it with dog breath to soften them up on the squid front.
Any civvies that run are Voteless. Any civvies that stand still are well disciplined Voteless.
The stalwart is amazing until something is tanky. I find hell diver is a balancing act of how much armor pen do you need vesus how fun is the weapon
I run stalwart, senator, eruptor as my setup works great. Stratagems usually change by mission but for illuminate its walking barrage, eagle bomb run, stalwart, supply pack. Supply pack helps me stock my stims, senator ammo, eruptor ammo for taking down heavies.
I usually run double sickle, ultimatum, grenade launcher, those drone grenades, supply pack, rocket sentry and autocannon mech.
Oh and the extra grenade armor. Yeah the supply packs helps me keep nades and stims high but it also let's me use my ultimatum more than once if something scary shows up when my mech is down.
This is where the autocannon comes in, fun as hell, backpack holds all the ammo, long range, and you can just obliterate most things, if you run out of ammo, you can probably call in a new one
But you never will if you manage it properly. And take advantage of ammo boxes laying around the map. Unfortunately, Eruptor + Stalwart is better on every front except the Squids. And mostly because of Fleshmobs & Stingrays.
Me seeing people discuss mg43 or stalwart with my HMG because bigger pew means more death
M105-Stalwart, my beloved. Permanent choice forlmy loadout on all fronts. Sometimes it's nice to dispense lead at 1150 RPM
The universal mg imo, bots? Either shredded by a hail of fire or thermited, bugs? Same thing, squids? Its like it was meant to be
Ive been begging to add a door gunner to the pelican for a minute now just like it already has a auto Cannon on the front, at the back or sides add a door gunner so you can hear the pop pop pop of the cannon and the ripping of the door gunner it might not add a lot if anything, but adds to the experience and cool factor.
Stalwart and Killzone Sniper with Siege Ready Armor is a dope squid loadout!
Brought my buddy the Stalwart on some bug missions last night and the predator stalkers kinda just ignored the fact that they were getting shot with it.
Imagine a four manned hovercraft that could fly just above head height with two stalwarts on each side 🥵
Stalwart is my go to Support weapon for squids when I'm using the Eruptor. Shreds Voteless, does surprising damage for flesh mob, decent ammo econ, and keeps the backpack slot open. Sometimes I'll use Machine Gun if I want that medium armor pen but being able to move and reload is so nice.
I hold brrrrrt button down
water jest cutter
At jet pack and I feel like a A-10 warthog
i have been struggling with squids lately... i am too attached to my RR but against squids it sees minimal use, any suggestion on what to take against them???
(primary) -Scorcher for fleshmobs and all the various types of overseers
(secondary) -Grenade pistol for warpship outposts
(grenade slot) thermites or incendiary
(stratagems) -MG sentry for voteless hordes/crowd control
-500 KG bomb
-Medium MG for voteless and kills overseers consistently too, can take out harvesters if you aim for the unprotected joints
(armor) Any light armor or medium armor works but I prefer armors with the “Siege Ready” perk for extra ammo and reload speed or the Masters of Ceremony armors who also have increased reload speeds
This build can kill anything besides the leviathan
Autocannon
Ya just don't lead'm as much!
Crazy movie
A stalwart with 100round boxes as a primary would be the tits. Otherwise the stalwart plus eruptor is just such a great combo. At the least, I wish we could customize the stratagem weapons.
Level up the carbine enough and it’s basically a mini stalwart as a primary, haha.
brooooo the m60 is the mg not the stalwarttrt
I love for the bugs but I’ve seen the light on the squid front with the W.A.S.P.
I could go brrrrt but popping a jet pack overseer with one 1 out of 7 rockets is very satisfying.
The stalwart is the steampunk version of a flamethrower
Bug mission*
im using it to help level up my constitution while i use the constitution as a melee
That was me as a new Helldiver when I joined the defense of Super Earth. I racked up so many Voteless and Overseer kills with the Stalwart.
Me when I have stalwart
All I need is my HMG and twig snapper
And they gotta use a whole mag for 3 overseers
That feeling of going to 1250 rpm ajd hearing a computer bluescreen while becoming surrounded by bodies and guts is unmatched.
Not up to speed with the elitist abbreviations. What is a RR? What is an EAT?
RR = Recoilless Rifle support weapon EAT = Expendable Anti-Tank support weapon
Resupply backpack: equipped, Selected firing mode: 1100rpm, most shots fired: easy
I prefer the R2D2 and C3PO over the BRZ and 2JZGTE
Fun fact: this gentleman here (Tim Colceri) was supposed to play the role of Hartman, the senior drill instructor. When Kubrick saw how well R. Lee Ermey played the part, he gave him that part and moved Colceri to the lesser role of the door gunner.
"How can you kill voteless?"
"EASY! DONT LEAD EM SO MUCH!"
old reliable.
Eruptor + Stalwart worse than Liberator Carbine + Auto-cannon specifically against the Squids. Being able to fire the Flak mode rapidly at Fleshmobs + flying overseers and switch over to Aphet to take out tripods, stingrays, and grounded overseers is rly powerful. It has a ton of ammo, quick enough reload if you don't use the whole clip, and there's tons of ammo boxes to pick up. Take it with walking barrage for outposts and sentries +/or a guard-dog and you can potentially take on everything the illuminate can throw at you as long as you stay mobile.
Personally I like the heavy MG its great to be able to shred everything light and heavy enemies
Get sum
“How can you shoot at scavengers and grubs?”
“Easy! I just don’t lead em as much! AHAHAHAH! Ain’t war hell?!”
Personally I love how max rpm just parts bullets. It scratches that "more daka" itch
My go to used to be Stalwart, light Siege Ready, and the Eruptor. Since I got the Reprimand that has taken over but boy did that old setup carry me through Illuminate missions
Step 1 crank up the speed.
Step 2 Strap on supply backpack.
Step 3 brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Get some juggernaut armor with that accuracy bonus on crouch and the Stalwart is a shredder.
For me is the mg
Mfers when they bring a Stalwart to a mission
Fixed that for you lmao
But is that a good thing or a bad thing?
No srsly, I've been away from the frontlines for too long. I genuinely don't know.
Stalwart is amazing for bugs and squids. I love taking the eruptor as my primary and then stalwart on max rpm to mow down the hordes.
I have once seen a guy poppin bot heads like nothing with it. It takes skill, but damn that was beautiful
Yea, it can be taken on bots too but since most bots are ranged i tend to take the eruptor and RR for bots. Anything the eruptor can't kill, the RR will handle.
RR and Reprimand is my bots go to, though I have strayed to the Deadeye on occasion.
For bots I like to go with Scythe and Quasar
Same
to those who love the MG+Eruptor combo:
do you have a moment to talk about our lord and savior Arc Thrower?
The sound on max rpm is wonderful
I take eruptor every match, but only with the machine gun. The medium pen is just better imo. Only voteless or simple bugs are light pen, so its kinda useless imo.
Squid armor degrades, so the high rpm of the stalwart is actually decent on overseers and voteless alike
But mg-43 can fight the tripods and the flying ship, so guess pick your poison. Find the mg-43 just better for squids since it can deal with everything.
Take Stalwart stratagem with you then get a Mg43 from PoI, best of both worlds
Use a Stalwart for bugs and find the MG43 from PoIs
I second the MG-43 being the superior pick for squids. Also allows you to headshot overseers instead of having to bodyshot them 50 times.
The stationary reload gets me on my MG.
Gas dog is great for that, reload while it has a full tank and even Fleshmobs aren't a problem.
Gas dog?
I like to mix the stalwart with the DES, as both can cover most enemies fairly well for squids
It’ll still laser overseers and flesh mobs, just takes more ammo
If you want a horde clear weapon that penetrates
mediumheavytankwhatever the hell level 6 armor is, look no further than the glorious Arc Thrower! Puts in absolute work on the squid and bug fronts, and can still hold its own on bots. Not only can it mow down endless hordes of small and medium enemies, it also stops chargers, harvesters, and hulks in their tracks. That's what I like about the arc, it won't kill heavy stuff quickly, but they'll sure wish it did.
and the whole time you're torturing that poor heavy, you will be killing chaff behind it. Gets really fun when you line up multiple heavies and create the ultimate chain of pain.
And honestly, it seems to kill harvesters pretty quick
The Arc Thrower™: For when a Recoilless to the head is too merciful
Good for bots if you can aim for heads (except the heavys)
The stalwart I would say is pretty great on all fronts, after the few buffs it received
Only problem with the clanker front is you can't use it against striders (unless you can hit the bot in the back) or gunships.
You can bring EATs for that but yeah I agree. Honestly I've only said that by word of mouth and I've never brought it to the bot front, not my style. I know it's great on the other two fronts and people told me it's also cool on bots
It's not terrible but you definitely need something to deal with certain enemies. I use it sometimes with the eruptor and senator and save the stalwart for berserkers and the regular troopers. You can get lucky and pop devastors heads with it sometimes too.
I haven't needed to maneuver for the bot in the back ever since they added those light armored missile racks you can shoot from the front
I do find it funny that the heavy striders you are talking about are a fair bit easier than the scout striders they replace. Unlike the bug front which gain Alpha Commanders who are a bit tougher than the Brood Commanders they replace.
Very good if you have support from your team or bring the correct stratagems to deal with the walkers.
It's a good thing. Stalwart is probably the best MG against squids. I play with the various machine gun stratagems as much as possible. Usually the MG-43 is my go to, but against squids, the Stalwart is superior because it doesn't have Stationary Reload. You pretty much always have to stay on the move against them, unless you have team mates that consistently cover your reloads.
The go to support weapon option for predator strain. Even if you have great aim if you get jumped at close range you need a bullet hose to unload on the stalkers.
Not bad imo, but it is limiting since no medium pen.
So bugs? Can't kill hive guards unless shoot between the crack of their shield. Mg-43 ignores that issue. But then yeah, chargers and titans are still an issue.
Squids. Stalwart kills all but the tripods and flying ship. Mg-43 can kill em, so I prefer it but stalwart on max fire rate does melt
It's pretty ok. Kind of pointless on the bot front since high DPS doesn't really matter against weakpoints, aight against the bugs but outclassed by the GL and arc thrower for horde clear IMO, and aight against the squids but outclassed by the GL again.
As a Stalwart user since almost day 1 I can confidently say that
The stalwart is just the heavy machine gun for people that can't handle the heavy machine gun.
You see, I bring the knight with the stalwart because more brrrt is gooder.
