I love when i want to resupply teammates and hear the click instead of the rack..
I was the bomb carrier in this situation last night! Poor guy with a supply backpack set off my backpack three separate times trying to give me ammo. He apologized super hard in chat but I wasn't even mad, that's objectively hilarious.
When you have been a servant of freedom long enough to earn the portable hell bomb you become desensitized to the occasional explosive death
CLICK Damn it not again! I would know I am the ally trying to resupply them and it really doesn't help when they move as I am about to resupply them!

To resupply someone with the Hellbomb backpack you list resupply them from the front.

I remember when someone carrying the hellbomb backpack was out of stims and low on health and me being the diligent medic diver ran over to try and stim him....well we both at least stopped feeling any pain after that interaction

I saw the activate prompt. thought he needed a stim.
He did not.
If someone activates your portable hellbomb without consent, stay with them, run after them, let them embrace the consequence of their own actions.
Think about it, Hellbomb backpack is also a supply backpack if you use it correctly.
You activate it, stand still, explode, wait for reinforcement, and voilà, fully restocked.

I hate that this is actually right, because everyone has max supplies after death.
Unless you don't have hellpod space optimization for some reason

I have to make a WIL Save every time I get that interaction prompt. It's a low DC, but one of these days I'm gonna roll the nat 1 and be compelled to push it.
