Clicking sound coming from wall
Woke up in the middle of the night to this sound coming from the doorframe. Kind of freaked out that there’s bugs in the wall. We’re renters and our house is really old. Thoughts on what this is and what I should do?

Most likely beetle/bee/ant or possible rodent in there chewing.
If you’re a renter, I’d contact the landlord first to tell them about it and ask them to get pest control out. You shouldn’t be responsible for anything behind the wall.
I found similar noise in wall/roof last week. Did some research and also posted on Reddit. It turns out right outside the wall/roof there are wasps flying inside the shingles and probably making nest. I called the pest control and they sprayed from outside and said the noise should go away in two weeks.
Call exterminators. I walked around like an idiot knocking on my walls to try to find/scare it, and i put my fist through the weakened drywall into a +1ft long wasp nest. Lost access to my master bedroom for a few days.
Start pressing on stuff around that area. Are you able to affect the noise at all?
Do you have central AC?
No AC, and the noise has stopped since last night. This video was taken at 2am
Had something similar to this happen to me and it ended up being carpenter bees
