Foundation crack

Found a foundation crack on new purchase of home. Any idea what I should do as this seems like a massive issue and not to happy with the previous owners

Are you saying the inspector missed this and you’re just now seeing it?

Just now seeing it

Yeah that’s an insane miss by the inspector. I would be raising hell with the company, possibly threatening lawsuits and you may get help on whatever costs to fix this are

What would be the reason it’s a massive hole like this?

We never got an inspection done we waived inspection

Damn brother, rookie move. Hopefully it’s not a crazy fix.

This looks awful to me, but also don’t quite understand what I’m looking at. The only thing you can do is call out a structural engineer to do a report on it. Prob costs $400. Then you call out a handful of local foundation companies and let them quote for the work the engineer is calling for.

Sorry you’re going thru this. Always, always, always do inspections.
