Also seeing that animation I start to think Hoyo should stop waiting for Ufotable and make genshin anime themselves at this point
Idk why but I feel like the Finale of Genshin might be an Hour long or maybe a 30 mins Animated Finale.
That might take a decade or two with how things are going. Especially if they use the same storytelling format for the next chapter as they're doing on The Teyvat Chapter now.
So they have good time to hone those animation skills.

You can already delete quests you've already done. So they'll probably hardlock Chapter 2 behind the Teyvat Chapter, and when the Teyvat Chapter is done we can just delete the entire Archon Quests in order for it to not take up space. But i'm no dev so i have no idea if it's possible or not.
Given Hoyo's track record with Genshin atleast, they're def always trying to find new ways to reduce the game size.
Game was like 32GB or 34GB for mobile when they had me redownload all the old resources this patch. Removing everything that can be removed, it's like 24.5GB right now.

What it could really use is to pick the AI subplot back up again. Despite being a big deal back in the pre-launch material Fairy's practically been benched and we've seen nothing of the other three Keys.
Unless one of the Key/AI is with/helping Exaltists. That could be roundabout way to connect Fairy back to main story relevance. Right now she's just increasing our electricity bill...
Maybe but it gets boring if it's one Big Bad behind everything? At least in HSR even if we have Nanook as the main antagonist we still have all the other Aeons tripping over their orange and blue morality in their rush to cause issues too.

Tbf, we already know the other Void Hunters. Joyous, Sunbringer, Professor Arhke, Cornell who's name i forgot. The question is if they're still kicking since their fates are actually pretty up in the air.
See what we actually need is a more solid time-line; those guys seem to have lived centuries ago, as far as we can tell from the available evidence, so the assumption is none of them are still active.
Since then "Void Hunter" has become a formal government-granted position, with seven positions in total based on the original seven, but other than Miyabi we don't know who's filling those positions.

Hoyo are on a really good roll lately in both HSR and Genshin in terms of story, A lot of set up in Genshin thats been planted since the beginning is finally coming to the forefront and it shows just how far back they have planned things. HSR gives me the same feeling

Look with Phainon's animations I don't deny the Heavenly Principles aren't somehow connected to a Kevin expy, I just don't know if Phanes itself would be a guy and playable
I think the idea there is that because the shades were split off from Phanes and they’re all female, the left overs would be male

With how Genshin decided to switch their focus as a game, I would highly recommend not to believe that Phanes could ever be Kevin or playable
As far as I know, Phanes is still an "it" that had its functions ruined during the Sovereign war. 'Functions' was the word Neuvillette's chara story used. Which to me suggests Phanes could be a machine or like...a Scepter

Capitano was the best candidate for a playable Harbinger. Design wise he could fit into the tall male model, his personality was noble and moral, he was badass and could have been given a cool kit.
But he was just killed off. If Capitano couldn't be playable, it's hard to believe evil mfs like Pierro or Dottore could be playable
Heck, I barely believe Dain's brother Ved could be playable

I love Genshin characters/lore/core mechanics but it got so boring in terms of narration/daily after 2 years of playing. I played since end of Inazuma to end of Fontaine, and I couldn't stand it anymore.
It is a shame too, because I was really excited for Rhinedottir and Istaroth.

3.0~3.2 was kinda slow but damn the Aquila arc was great and the Irontomb plotline was so peak.
Once the involvement of the Aeons and Emanators was once again thrown into the plot, it instantly became good

I was trying to drop genshin because I don't have time with playing 4 other gacha. Im about a week in and might end up going back.
MHY did say Nod Krai is the place where they want to tie a lot of the old loose ends up, so if you're lore enjoyer that's been with the game for a while, the next version may be pretty good!
Can always just come back after a few versions have passed and do everything at once.
God its been nice to have a goated, decently paced story with how much of a slump the narrative in ZZZ has been. I want a Hyacinema and Phainon goat scene for ZZZ but all I get is a Kung Fu Proxy.... not even being a proxy anymore....

Ppl don't play ZZZ for lore. The lore has only been more interesting in almost every other update compared to 1.4. But there hasn't been as much hype, that's true.
Edit: Seriously, 1.4 kinda wrecks a lot of the setup that 1.0-1.3 give to the exaltists and Bringer. He could have been interesting, instead he's just a flat board of a villain. They don't even really give any explanation beyond "haha funny syringe" until 1.6-1.7...
And Sarah doesn't get off much better.
I wish it was just Kung Fu Proxy. The collective trauma from the "Not China" zones in GI and HSR is making me dread the rest of ZZZ's 2.X arc because I just know they're just gonna flood it with the same old tired Wuxia arcs instead of doing something different, yet still very Chinese in origin.

I kinda feel this. I still like Genshin but for some reason all the "HUGE LORE DROP!?!?@?" stuff barely gets a reaction out of me. I guess they look alright? I don't really feel a connection with any of these characters, but sure? Had a similar reaction to the Paralogism quest Rhinedottir lore drop. Sure I guess it's a neat revelation but these characters are just faceless background stories to me...

Haven't played genshin in 4 months. decided to at least log in after the trailer. Crafted a hat for my arlecchino. 3 liner with flat atk that rolled into flat hp. Closed the game immediately didn't even do anything else. I will not play a game that despises me to this extent

Half way there. The only saving grace is that I can do auto battles and don't have to go to Katherine to get my daily stuff. it's just much faster. If endfield is half of what they are promising and indeed doesn't have rng in gearing I'm dropping all hoyo and kuro slop. I don't have time or energy for rng gearing anymore
I've been farming for Phainon since a month in HSR. Used every single fuel that I've saved in my inventory (almost 100) and my relics for him are still crap. Guess I need to stop playing now, because RNG clearly hates me! Woe me!
