It's also not hard to be in the top 5 best preservation units in the game

yeah but it she will do burst so maybe she healed, tanked the next attacked then did 1% dmg
that beggs another question, can her next attack do 1% dmg
wait a min she does not attack in her next move she uses defence to tank 2-3 attacks from adventurine then attacks

The story fight is unironically very doable with just phys tb and Pres March. March’s shields are just good enough and it comes down to good sp management to always let phys tb skill on the dice, while managing the toughness bar to always phys break(this is where pretty much all your damage will come from).

You know, i'm pretty sure that someone who is beating Aven with Destruction Trailblazer, 4* Dan Heng and Preservation March is just sending a message and doesn't care about other free characters.

I rememeber her being free, but checking again maybe it was an event. She often appears as free characters during events. there are some free characters. for aventurine you can use herta 4s. there's also a free natasha as healer. You can get free herta as sim universe rewars and natasha doing quests.
You can also get free QQ, i think from the pre-moc stuff. And a xueyi for clearing certain apoc stage
