I bought a used set of wheels with run flats on them for my Winter wheels. Every tire had the cords showing through. Watching the guys at Discount remove them was highly entertaining. Don't people know how to change tires anymore?

If you're so good at taking tires off and everyone else sucks and not up to your standard then you go and do it.
I'm not sure if you guys are idiots or not. All I asked was aren't people able to change tires anymore and you both take exception. Don't know what your problems are but take them somewhere people care what you think.

It's run-flat, not run-disintegrated.
My dealer just did the required faceleft from BMW, however, they left the ugly red bricks in the shop and only put the white and grey tiles in the lane lol.
My dealer got kinda lucky because International trucks just rebranded as we started our remodel. We get to be one of the first in the country to get the new look. They chose black. Just flat black with some white lettering and logos. For a company that sells 90% white trucks because fleets
I worked at an International dealer for a little bit and this is the first I've seen the new (old) logo coming back, I dipped into the diesel world a bit between jobs so I hadn't heard. Huh. Gonna miss the orange diamond.
If you look at all the historical international logos, they picked one of the most bland to use

Just today: Customer states thumping noise from front end. Started at 2PM today and hasn't stopped since.
Don't know how the guy didn't notice the right front is a lot lower or why the tire light turned on.

They should be glad it didn’t rip apart more and rip out the fender liner and damage the body harness. I’ve had two of these so far. People think the iX has run flats and it does NOT.
This is exactly why you should never let the customer be a part of the diagnosis. They use Google and AI to try to influence you!
That tire took the ‘flat’ part way too seriously.
Fun fact: I've seen that happening live.
I'm driving through a series of highway tunnels with dense traffic. I'm now in a tunnel that's a few km long and that has already had fire incidents in the past.
Suddenly, within 10 seconds:
- Traffic slows down a lot: 100 -> 40km/h
- Tunnel lights go weak while fans spin up to full-speed
- Blinking lights/arrows tell everyone to go on the left lane
- Air smells like something is burning
- Traffic slows-down even more to a walking pace, feeling like a death trap in case of fire
As everyone moves to the left, I start seeing a massive skid mark that's still smoking and probably started a few hundred meters before. And at the end of it, there's a brand-new BMW stopped with a smoking flat tire and it's driver looking panicked still inside.
We're safe, it's just a BMW driver doing BMW things.

I would usually say,”At least it’s only flat on the bottom”. But in this case, that thing is flat in several spots!!

That's an iX. So, not a run-flat.
Clearly it is a run flat, because that person ran it while it was flat lol. It was not meant to be run flat, but it became one, and did a shit job of it.
Any tire is a run flat if you believe hard enough.
