I tell you mister…🥹 Seriously can’t wait I’ve finished my rewatch and now just clicking random episodes lol i got what Peggy calls “Chalk Finger”
I forgot what episode it was, but Red Corn was like, I am 36 years old, I don't need this c@#!.
Bobby was 13 in the series, and is now in his 20's.
That is what Red Corn looks like at 46?
Remember that he was actually 40 at one point as well after his 36 years old comment. So more like 50. Not a big difference, but it’s something
I get that, but the kids never really age. Bobby turned 13 and Peggy was so happy to bring out the cake. So how do the kinds not age nut the adults do?
Like the Simpsons, Bart and Lisa haven't really aged, I mean, there are flashbacks and future variations but they are in the same grade you know what I mean?
“Yeah, whenever you see something like that…a wizard did it!”
the kids never really age
pubescent Joseph entered the chat
the kids age, by what, a few years in the whole 13 seasons? Math is not mathing up.
Yeah, all the characters aged at different rates. Luanne lives like 7 years for Bobby’s, what, 2?
So we cant really track ages
Holy shit I've never thought about how Luanne like graduates, goes to college, drops out, gets 7 new jobs, tries to go back to college, drops out again, meets lucky, and finally moves and Bobby's still in the same grade until this comment
Haha yeah dude Bobby and Luanne are at extreme opposite ends of KotH’s warped timeline progressions
Because here on Rainey Street, time moves differently.
Here on Rainey Street, some things are fast, some things are slow.
Seasons change, reverse, and fast forward.
Here on Rainey Street, in the Twilight Zone.
There are people who do all that in 2 years. 😂
True 😂
Luanne starts the series at 18 (or 17, since Peggy mentions early on that they're her gurardians), she's 21 by Season 7 when Hank is her DD for her birthday, and it's kind of left in the air how old she is at the end. When she drops out of community college, Hank says she's been at a two year school for over four years.
And becomes a mom!
😭
40 to 50 includes the most dramatic period of biological aging for adult people. It is not only a big difference, it is among the biggest visually and by health metrics.
I just turned 38. Please don't say this. Lol
I'm 42. My wife said the other day, "So, it's your right knee that's bad?"
I think about that one quote from him a lot ! “You’re 40 Hank!”
Yeah their ages fluctuate, I actually went down a rabbit hole trying to pinpoint their ages. But I was drunk so I don't remember my conclusions. I do know Nancy is 40, I think Hank and Friends are about 43 and Peggy is 42 because she graduated from, lol, West Arlen.
Edit: I meant those numbers in the first airing, also Hank actually mentions his birthday in an episode at 1967
Basically the dude is the epitome of middleaged.
It's really hit or miss with how some of them aged.
I was watching the trailer again and Bill was missing from Hank's BBQ'ing. In the trailer, Bill was seen coughing before everyone wore masks. Hope he didn't catch covid as he would have not survived. While theory.
Back to John Red Corn, who took care of himself. Aged so poorly
There is no way they will kill off Bill. Bill was just the start of Covid I’m sure in Arlen. But he survived. They’ve shown him after the fact as it is.
Genetics and time catches up to all of us. Doesn’t matter if you eat right and what not. Also, he definitely isn’t rich enough for any plastic surgery or a hair transplant, so his changes aren’t too bad I don’t think.
But yes, they did play fast and loose with the plot lines at various times as we all know
Aged poorly??? 50 years old, slight crows feet and not a grey hair on his head... Plastic surgery and botox has really messed with people's ideas about what aging looks like
I think his pretty severe receding hairline is what is making his “aging” look more extreme than it is lol.
It is admittedly odd though… Most of the time if someone has this bad of a hairline at 43-ish, they probably didn’t have great hair (with 0 signs of balding) at 36 like he did. So I think that’s why it looks like he aged a lot more years than he did.
All these folks are also out in the Texas sun all day. Sun damage is a SUNofabitch lol
Bill dying of covid would be the most logical, but also I think a bit too sad. I hope it’s not the case.
Yeah, me too. Bill needs a win.
Bill is alive, he is in the leaked storyboard animatic scene
Ho Yeah!
By the end he wakes up and realizes he's forty. He's forty, Hank!
So this is closer to 50 which makes more sense. Good to see him and Joseph connecting
That’s when Nancy broke up with him and went back to Dale I believe “Nancy’s Boys”
I like when Hank confronted Red Corn because Peggy went to him for her headaches, and Red Corn, was like, I didn't heal Peggy, like I have healed the wives of others. And Hank says, "I'll kick your ass," And the wind blows and Red Corns hair moves and his arm is ripped. And Hank walks away, saying, I will.
But remember, according to notes- Hank could kick his ass if he really wanted to.
.....did you censor the word "crap"?
Fuckin insane lmao
Yeah, I don't like swearing.
Shows that get too caught up in the lore always end up stepping in their own shit. Hopefully he’ll be as old as he needs to be to tell the best story and we can just get over it.
But one day he wakes up and he's 40 he's 40!
you're allowed to say "crap" on the internet
Why are you censoring “crap”?
Where nancy and dale fall back in love after going to a restaurant with Hank and Peggy. It's in season 4
Yeah, date night when Hank got a dinner for 4 after opening the door to the freezer of the restaurant that had the manager trapped in it.
He aged quicker without his sweet Nan Nan dropping by for those headache treatments
You got me there, That's some powerful medicine.
Holy fuck dude you can say crap. You can say shit for that matter.
Did you just censor the word "crap"??
He was 40 hank........HE WAS 40!!!!
I mean Bobby was a millennial in the original run and is now firmly gen z so they definitely timey wimey'd the ages.
Dale will always be Joseph’s dad, but I do like the idea of Joseph and John connecting and having a relationship. Nancy did Dale and John both wrong, really.
I hope Joseph knows and he just lets Dale continue to be in blissful ignorance because he knows it’ll break his heart and Dale and Joseph love each other so much.
He may be yer father boy, but he ain't yer daddy
She did everyone wrong for involving everyone in this bullshit lol
I mean am I bad for thinking dale is also responsible? He did neglect his wife a lot.
If you’re being neglected, you don’t cheat. You end the relationship if it’s not satisfying your needs.
As much as I love the hilarious moments, I really hope the bonding of Jospeh with his dad is a touching one, and hopefully we can have more touching scenes as well. Buckleys angel being one of my favorites
I'm betting the image of Joseph and John Redcorn riding horses are from a dream John has.
I'd hope it isn't since this is a man who with no regard for Joseph's well being who made many attempts to destroy his family.
I wonder if there's still a hole in his pocket where his money should be.
Ladybird is probably gone in the new season. :(
confirmed, sadly :(
It was? 🥲
Yes. They said it would be too much of a suspension of disbelief to have her still around unfortunately. That and she would have been with Bobby for the past few years due to Hank and Peggy living abroad.
John Redcorn and Joseph bonding? Could this mean something huge?
John Redcorn is 36-years-old-I-don't-need-this-crap going on 60
One day you look up and you’re 40. You’re 40, Hank!
Why is Joseph hanging out with his mother's old massage therapist? Nothing suspicious here..
I really like that John still has a role in Joseph’s life, I really hope though that him and Nancy do not rekindle their relationship. I think that there can be a very compelling series of episodes of Joseph realizing his true parentage and coming to his own terms about it, but John and Nancy getting back together would throw out all that and the development of the characters throughout the series.
Yeah I don't see them doing that. I think the best possible narrative would be for Joseph to know that John is his biological father now that he's an adult, and because of that he had a relationship with him but Joseph considers Dale to be the father who brought him up and will always be his dad in his mind and the truth of the matter is never really spoken about because Joseph has a good relationship with them both while Nancy just accepts Dale is her always loving husband.
New BWAAAHHH: confirmed.
Where is the first picture from?
King of the hill.
😒
lol Disney released an upcoming trailer for what’s to come the rest of the year with new looks and the revival was on there for a split second or two
Oh cool. I’ll have to take a look
Exquisite.
Here is the Disney+ First Look for August; skip ahead to 0:23 for the KoTH preview
Oh, John Redcorn. 😔🕊
Well well well. Ja honnnnn redcorn.
Well
He woke up and he’s 40. HES 40 HANK!
This made me have questions! Do you think Joseph knows? Do you also think that he could know without Dale knowing. Because we all know including Joseph that Dale has a really flimsy psyche.
calling it right now the scene with John and Joseph riding horses together is a dream sequence by john
I wonder if this is where he finds out… or finally out two and two together
Rewatch? Bitch this shit is cycling on repeat in this house. Probably for a month straight. It's perfect sleep music.
Is it a slow release or a binge drop?
Does anyone know if this Will this be available in the UK?
Excited for steel ball run 👍
They drop a New Trailer?
yayayayyayayay 😁
The implications!
Steel ball run?
And what about the girl?
I was wondering that as well.
The animation looks like shit. So disappointing.
I thought Jon Redcorn wasn't gonna be in the reboot.
John Redcorn had been voiced by someone else prior to the one you're thinking about.
Ah gotcha, I'm an idiot. I really thought the character just wasn't going to be there. This is great news, thanks.
What do you mean? Joss has been confirmed to be Recorn in the reboot.
Since we have lost Johnathan Joss and Johnny Hardwick, leads me to think that we as fans will only be getting 1 new season...
Rip
First look at modern-day John Redcorn!
These screen caps are cool, are they part of a trailer or just standalone?
The new Disney+ remaining 25’ first look
