As a rule of thumb, I simply do not consider US demographic estimates put out by anyone except the US census. They're not perfect, but compared to every other national census, the US knocks it out of the park.

It's best to be skeptical of any map about X group in 2050, especially if they are discriminated against. A lot of maps like this have malicious intent
I'm surprised by the rest of the South leaving NC behind. I'm assuming this is because of the sheer number of non-Hispanic people moving in? I know some majority Black areas are getting whiter due to the number of White transplants. Durham recently saw its White population surpass its Black population for example.
I take these with a grain of salt.
1) Birthrates in LATAM have decreased rapidly over the past several decades in line with urbanization. There are simply leas people to send.
2) Outside of the political crisis in Venezuela there may be no more non-economic push factors on the horizon (this could change - for example the fall of Communism in Cuba will likely cause a large outmigration from the island).
3) Intermarriage/assimilation. Someone who doesn’t speak Spanish but has a Colombian mom and white dad with fair skin will be for all intents and purposes a white American, despite what they check on the census.

I reject the premise that that’s what it’s planned around. But even if it was, we just change the plan.
- We deport most of the current illegal immigrants. Some we put on a path to citizenship.
- We tightly regulate and monitor a guest worker program for low skilled migrant workers in the southwest until they are no longer needed.
- We increase and tightly regulate legal immigration, making sure we get the best and the brightest from all countries not just Hispanic ones. We make sure this process requires them to adopt American culture and values and educates them on being good citizens before earning citizenship. Criminals and people who support terrorists like Hamas get deported.
- We adopt economic policies that make it easier for educated middle class citizens to have more children thus reducing the need for immigration in the long term and softening the economic crash as baby boomers die.
Too much common sense written here for any of it to happen in this country.
Just to clarify Oregon, California,Arizona and New Mexico belong to Mexico. The population of those states are already citizens
