Well they literally call themselves zhongguo "the middle kingdom."
at the same time most countries have maps that position their own continents at the centre, and china is obviously larger here so they can give it more detail

While it’s definitely true that dynastic China viewed their lands (and emperor) as the center of the world, I don’t think you can just say that it reflects that all people in modern China see themselves as being at the center of the world. It was the name of China even in periods where China was very poor and certainly didn’t see itself as being a superpower. It’s still the name for China among Chinese-speaking people who don’t live in China or see it as the center of everything.
