Grown out side-ish part…start training your hair by combing it back after a shower to see where it wants to part and try and train it to part kinda at the corner of your head…his hair is a bit grown out though, so you will need to give it time to get used to flowing like that…a hair clay would likely help of you don’t want too greasy of a look but the hold to keep the sides down

You can use either hairspray or hairgel, but in the long run, hairgel will be more effective and less damaging to your hair than hairspray.
In this pic he probably used a brush and not a comb, since it looks pretty "loose" kinda like a powdered wig.
