I'm doing ok yeah, it must have been 8 years since we'd last spoken after an argument, so we weren't really close any more, but I kept checking on him from time to time (via LinkedIn) to see if everything was going well in his life.
And today I wanted to have a look but the profile had disappeared, so I Googled his name and that's when I discovered the obituary.
Despite the fact that we no longer spoke, I wanted to pay tribute to him because he was a very good friend at the time and it was with him that I first played Minecraft.

The person I play with on this server has just discovered this grave and I had to explain it to him.
In the end, we're going to move him and make a mausoleum for him, or maybe the cathedral he created in 2014 on our first server with him, it would be a good symbol.

If it's the case I don't know, as I said we didn't talk for years after an argument... But it was an old friend so it's really weird to know he is dead now.
But yeah I thought about it, yes, given the date it may have been the covid that won out. Maybe I'll find out, I'll ask for the death certificate to get more info on why.
