I am not the best at making interiors, so drop some suggestions on how I could decorate the interior of this library i made.
You should put some books in there
great idea maybe I'll add some
I’m sorry. I couldn’t resist 😅
I like using the new “empty” bookshelf interspersed with the full books shelves to create some depth, for me it also doubles as a place to hold my enchanted books (albeit it takes some hunting to find the ones I am looking for)
I have a wizards tower that uses a mix of normal and chiseled bookshelfs. The chiseled ones also have a nice top texture, so they function both as a bookshelf and floor.
I've also seen looms used as empty bookshelves
You didn't have to cut me off!
I came here to say that 😂
reading nook?
I'll for sure add that, thank you
Some computers
Daylight sensor for keyboard black glass pane for screen
Or recreate Bliss in a 128*128 area and use the map in an item frame
Put an enchantment table in the very center of the library. Cover all of the walls with bookshelves(occasionally the empty ones) with some brewing stands along the walls. Put more bookshelves around the center. Create a second floor and have 4 staircases around the library. Don’t forget a librarian counter at the entrance.
I was thinking about suggesting a 2nd floor too, Only I’d suggest building the 2nd floor at the bottom of the dome and building 2 staircases that form a circle around the center of the room
Books
Came here to say that
Book shelves .....
Chandler
Lot of bookshelves, a front desk, a librarian villager trading hall, some decorated pots and flower pots, candles, and lanterns
A chandelier would go crazy
Okay, so, hear me out here, indoor swimming pool.
Looks more like a greenhouse or winter garden but you could combine it. A cosy winter garden with bookshelves and seating areas for relaxed reading and taking care of plants at the same time.
I think amethyst looks good with bookshelves
Maybe some banners hanging up. A second floor that overlooks the first floor. Kind of like a balcony with bookshelves. Looks great by the way.
Add a borrowing station? So that People can borrow books
Books
one-hundred happy ghasts
First, I'd divide the space into separated rooms and wings. This will make it feel a lot less overwhelming and leave a lot less empty space.
Other than that, a front desk for the librarian, some bookshelves, and seating areas should do nicely as the primary interior details. Don't forget potted plants and carpets as well to nail a cozy vibe if that's what you're going for.
mix in a few Chiseled Bookshelves with the regular ones
Plants, librarians, book stands, copper golems (when they come out), and book shelves
Small pots with flowers and maybe some glow berries? But that might be too magical looking haha
Books! Every library is complete a full array of books
Books duh
Uh... maybe some books? And perhaps bookshelves?
Looking good!
Wood. Idk what anyone else is saying, bit i think wood to offset the stone would look nice. Oak or maybe spruce, for natural colors, or pale oak for unnatural.
(also some copper catwalks and a little bit of greenery might do well too)
Lecterns, bookshelf and lots of librarian is obvious and you can make another floor on top of it which can be a classroom with black boards to study .
I recently found this library tutorial. It has some really cool ideas on structure and decoration. Maybe it helps:
Definitely lots of plants - in small/big pots, but also maybe a “vine” (made out of leaf blocks) on the dome. Inside or outside!
It’s a gorgeous building
Thank you very much!
I saw this trick on YouTube that you just make some random shapes whit dirt on the walls and then just replace it whit trapdoors, lanterns slabs stairs furnaces, crafting tables e.t.z
Add some plants, like flowering azaleas in pots.
Some lanterns/glowstone/any other light source?
A fountain at the centre?
Definitely bookshelves.
Idk but I'ma steal that design for my MCPE world, I LOVE it since it's got a manageable scale and it is not a megabuild
Not books
Books I would presume
Books
Add bookshelves and lecterns.
I’m terrible at decorating, so I’ll just say I love the design of this building!
What shaders?
With books and tables. lol
It looks like a great spawn area. I would /clone command before doing any work on it as a copy.
Bookshelves.
With books
Explosives
Unless you want the dome to smoothly connect to the walls, a narrow catwalk would look cool on the inside perimeter of the dome with a spiral staircase in the middle. Could have bookshelves act as the supports.
Idk, definitely not books tho...
But actually, try some computers, stairs placed backwards with a painting on them
If I had made this, i would have left it alone, cause I know if I make mistakes while doing interior, it will end up looking shit!! 🙌
Bookshelves!
To begin, use some bookselfs 😅
Put some chiseled bookshelves that open a secret room.
Have you considered adding books 🤔
books
Book
Librarians
Add one librarian villager as the person who checks your books.
Put books
Probably a few bookshelfs
Aquarium
What I like to do for my library interior is to put rows of bookshelves and chiseled bookshelves (some with 1-6 books for aesthetic) on top put slabs. I like to make them uniformed height (4-7) blocks high but you could go for a more broken down look if you want. Around the side walls where there are no windows, I would put bookshelves with other decoration blocks as well (pots with plants, brewing stands, chests, paintings, maybe some bigger plants made out of tree leaves) even in one corner you could add a ladder to the second floor (lot of people said that and I like the idea) I would also add some reading areas. Like some tables made out of slabs with chairs made out of stairs. I also think an enchanting table in the middle would be a great idea as a center piece. One way to make a max level enchanting table without taking up loads of room, is to make it recessed into the floor (so cut out a 5x5 area into the floor and on the outside edges place book shelves. On the inner 3x3 put slabs and right in the middle put an enchanting table. You will need one row with another set of bookshelves on top but you can do that on the opposite side of the entrance and boom you have a nice maxed enchanting set up that doesn’t take up much room) hope that helps and please show us updates of the interior when you’re done! Great build by the way! Looks so beautiful
A big map in the Center!
Plants!
books
what is the shader?
Bookshelves duh... Also a lot of benches and some chandeliers, flower pots work very well too. Don't be afraid to use trapdoors, slabs and stairs to add shapes to decorations like support beams on the ceiling
make a section all about the bosses from elder guardian to warden
Books.
Idk look up the inside of library's that would probably give an idea
Pop up book shelves
Oh wow that looks beautiful! Id love to see some photos when you finished the interior!
MONEY
Hidden room opened by a book being removed.
You use a comparator into a chiseled bookshelf to detect when the redstone goes too much down, then open a piston door.
This is gorgeous omg, but yeah give it like a labrynth of book shelves ^
Minecraft players don’t design interiors, don’t be ridiculous! Just throw out some disorganized chests, and an enchanting table in the middle. EZ PZ
Librarian trading pods styled as desks amongst an intricate library
Freestanding bookshelves, reading nooks and an enchanting area in the middle :)
Books
Man, those blocks on the floor look so beautiful and satisfying to look at.
Books
book
Dinosaur skeletons, maybe a floating globe, lots of maps, indoor plants, reading tables, printer, computer lab, and of course secret catacombs beneath
Nature theme w/ Water feature/glowberries/spore blossom
Add a laboratory room
Probably with books
Fill it with bookshelves, dumbass
With books.
its mosque bro
Maybe some books! :D
Greenhouse library
Bookshelves (both kinds), occasional lecterns, and a map.
A couple rows of books for sure. I'd try making them 4-5 blocks tall with a wood slab on top for the larger area. For the smaller areas, 1-2 tall with slab, though a reading area with seating could be cool there too. For the layout... I'd try to keep it as open feeling as you can since you have the beautiful skylight dome
