I don't think that archeology is an effective way to make old structures useful again, some of them are dated and need more than that.
Both can be done. They can be integrated into archeology while also updating them to have more varied layouts and sizes.
It meant you could get diamonds from Desert Temples and gave desert wells SOME use
Ppl explore pyramids ANYWAYS without archeology
Yeah cause usually you don't have immediate access to brushes, but once you do there's no reason to not use archeology and get some free diamonds from that section of the temple
More reasons to explore and loot is always a plus. So absolutely.
I wish more of them would have red stone stuff in them like the jingle temple
The jungle temple is the only one that needs an update desperately.
The ocean monument, ancient city, woodland mansion, outposts, etc. All serve their own individual purpose.
Monuments give you sponges and an armor trim. It also allows the conduit to work.
Ancient cities are a challenge for great loot with a warden protecting it.
Mansions are an easier way to grab a totem than using raids.
Outposts allow the player to get bad omen when there are no other feasible options.
It would've worked best for the jungle temple, trail ruins are found in jungles so it would thematically make sense for jungle temples to have archeological sites
Absolutely, alot of structures need updates as well and giving that extra aspect of archeology would be nice!
When you word it like that, how on earth could we disagree?
