I love the Wii U edition, it only goes up to 1.13 though (aquatic update) I played it for YEARS

Same with Xbox One edition.

Damn, those minigames were fun. I never really played with 1.13 cause I started playing on Bedrock after that. However, the fact that we still don't have customizable superflat (or even structures in superflat iirc) is kinda stupid.

Xbox One edition and the short-lived Nintendo Switch edition only goes up to World of Colour update, aka 1.12. 360, PS3 and Wii U editions went up to 1.13 and PS4 edition went up to 1.14

I swear loading the game up before and seeing a trident. Holy mandela effect.

Afaik it was because it used a gamma slider instead of a brightness slider. Java and Bedrock will change the actual brightness curve of light sources when you change the slider, while Console just added brightness to the whole screen, making everything look washed out.

It was pretty iconic but the modern implementation is clearly better

Does TNT affect the outside of the world? Ive never tried to do so.

i just tested it out in a creative wii u world and apparently it blows up a block outside the border but nothing past that. u/SpezFU you should try it

Is it a thing in Wii U edition because I don't think the world border is that small

The washed out legacy look is beautiful

I wondered why you were at the world border and complained about this, but then I realized that it's a nerfed console version with absolutely minescule worlds. A few hundred blocks in each direction is nothing. You can walk that distance in a few minutes.

co-ordinates on the map… wow

DigitalJedi850

Good lord… I was looking for coordinates like ‘nah you aint at no world border stfu’, but… alas. Rough. I have compounds larger than this map lol, I’m glad I missed this era.

I don't get why the other versions don't do it that way. They don't want players relying on the UI, so why not instead make coordinates part of an item?
