(rendered on the old card, displayed via integrated graphics)
Yes, of course it's linux, and no, unfortunately i couldn't find drivers (you can try to find Tseng Labs Inc ET6000 (rev 30)/hercules dynamite 128/video drivers)
now make your own gpu and run mc on it
>now make your own gpu
out of redstone!
You know its bad when low end cpu integrated graphics are way better
Yep
Also my main gaming rig is a low end cpu with igpu (and no dgpu)
Normally I'd be mad at a phone recording but there is NO way your machine was handling Minecraft and a screen recorder at the same time lol. Good post
What you are saying isn't possible at all. The Tseng Labs ET6000 had no 3D acceleration at all, and certainly didn't run OpenGL which is needed for Minecraft. See https://theretroweb.com/chip/documentation/et600090-6718a324cb655867197199.pdf
What's probably going on here is your Linux system is falling back to software rendering using a renderer called llvmpipe. Go press F3 and see what renderer the game is really using.
no this is crawling not running
an Intel igpu would run this better...
thx bro, ill keep in mind to not buy this graphics card to play minecraft in the next time i time travel to 1999 🙏
now you gotta make a PC with Redstone in-game and play MC on 60FPS
try sodium 👍
It already is sodium lmao
How does it perform when lowering every settings to the minimum?
I wouldn’t be surprised if it could run decently well with Sodium.
This is giving me og Doom vibes 😂
Oh yeah, thats right, 1995 was 30 years ago...
intel graphics ahh
If possible, get this thing using Linux mint. Then, use every fabric optimization mod you can find (not conflicting ones of course) and then on top of that lower the thread count for world generation to 1. Will make parts of the world load really slow, but will improve performance.
