Had an older patient who was cleaning his ears with a cotton swab, his landline rang, he answered without thinking and punctured his eardrum. Only time I heard of anything like it.
I knew a teacher who was cleaning her ears with a Q-tip. Her husband opened the bathroom door, and it swung straight into her. You can guess what happened.
Pop goes the weasel. Fucking ow.
I struggle to get my ears clean because people just barge into places and it's hard to feel 100% safe. Since one knee jerk is all it takes.
Your ears clean themselves. You don't need Q-tips. You could also just rinse your ears in the shower.
I know I can't stop you, but you don't need to do it.
Your ears should clean themselves--unless you're like me and have ear canals that are mishaped so all the wax flows in the opposite direction. I have to go to the doctor every year and have mine flushed out.
I've never gone to the doctor to get them cleaned. Soon might be first. Usually flush them out myself with water and seems to help. About once a year like you. I now it's time to go when my hearing gets a little worse and water from the shower gets stuck behind a 'hill' or earwax and can't shake it loose and can stay for days. Horrible having this hearing as if you're underwater haha
I disagree. But we'll see. Four weeks. Then eight. Check.
Speak for yourself, my ears produce so much wax it gets unbearable after a while. Rinsing works though. Oily skin problems i guess.
My SIL ruptured her eardrum using a Q-Tip without any sort of accident or anything, just normal use.
She is also the unluckiest person I have ever met and has had all sorts of unusual medical conditions and injuries throughout her life.
The biggest issue isn’t that people are puncturing their eardrums frequently (although it does happen occasionally).
Q Tips aren’t recommended for cleaning out ears because they don’t actually clean out the ear wax. A Q Tip pushes the wax deeper into the ear canal and can lead to impacted wax.
When I was in middle school, one of my friends had a sister who was deaf one ear. Happened because she was running around the house with q tips in both ears when she was like 4 or 5 and fell and landed on hear side.
I've used them for makeup adjusting, nose cleaning, and minor cleanups while working on crafts.
Have you ever blown out your nose drum?
I never thought to use one to pick my nose....
Didn't the COVID tests teach you anything?
Yea, they're a great way to make your nose run and instantly clog...
Its a lifesaver, especially when you have a nose ring
Had a blocked ear for a couple of years. Used to try and rinse ear in shower by turning ear to the warm water, hoping the blob of wax I thought was in there would come out.. One day something popped out. It was old and manky. It was the cotton part of a cotton tip. Could hear again. Still stick them in my ear. Just carefully watch for cotton in = cotton out.
Cleaning guns
So like, you just roll them over your biceps?
underrated comment.
Tampons are also good for cleaning guns.
I clean my pc with them
You can still use Q-Tips around your ear to get the wax and dirt out of the creases.
Cleaning the urethra, obviously.
Sound advice
"sound"
;)
To itch my balls from the top
Quips and tea-tree. She will love it!
They are for cleaning ears, they just have to say it isn't because of morons blowing out their eardrums by mistake.
I’ll never stop cleaning my ears with them. I don’t know why so many people have accidents where they actually injure themselves.
I'm just guessing it was from the less than 1 percent of people who have actually hurt themselves while cleaning their ears. It removes liability from them so people can't sue.
Same reason we have 'do not swallow' warnings on toothpick boxes
I remember a Dr G episode where the cause if death in a guy was internal puncturing/bleeding from a swallowed toothpick.
The high BAL (blood alcohol level) lead to him eating h'orderves with lil' toothpicks in 'em like a madlad and he unknowingly (or uncaringly) swallowed one.
Kinda an alcohol related death you don't always think about.... death by oral misadventure.
There was an episode of House where a guy swallowed a toothpick as well.
“Do not ingest” on the bottle of mineral spirits
I saw a thread about this a few days ago with people commenting how they hurt their eardrums and such. Like how hard are you pushing lol.
These are the same people who need baby stroller warning labels that say...
"Remove child before folding."
Not just injured, they also push wax deeper into the ear which can block them causing temporary hearing loss.
The ear canal is self cleaning. If you really need to clean it out, a hot water flush will do it.
Yep but while self cleaning, doesn’t a glob of wax come forward to the point where it might be visible? I’d like to catch that before it happens
You can also use diluted hydrogen peroxide, or just buy an ear cleaning solution (same thing).
I had the cotton part get stuck in my ear once. I was cleaning my ear after a shower and took the q tip out and it was just the stick. I had to go to the hospital the next day because I couldn’t get it out. 😆
That actually makes more sense than puncturing your ear drum or something. Some of those off brand q-tips don’t always have the cotton part adhered on there very well. That was probably funny for the doctors though. A little break from the serious cases lol.
That's the reason Q-Tips are one of the few items I will always buy name-brand.
I thought this might be a link to a Dr. Mike rant about Q-tips. Not disappointed, though. Pleasantly reminded of someone who must've dropped off my algorithm a while ago and I can't believe I didn't notice. Thank you!
IMO 99% of people don’t have problems using Q-Tips to clean their ears. However, 1% do and it’s those people who get impacted earwax. It’s those very same people who doctors treat. We get warnings not to use them, due to the problems Q-Tips cause with the 1%. That’s my 2 cents.
One thing is ear canals (that’s a no no), another it’s ear auricles.
People clean their ears like they're ramrodding a cannon.
Same here. Ear cleaners unite.
This is incorrect and I don't know why it's getting upvoted. Yes cotton swabs can puncture your ear, but the main issue is that ears are self cleaning. They gradually move wax outside of the ear. Using cotton swabs pushes the wax back in and increases the likelihood of build up.
Audiologists have to labor this point again and again because people keep spreading the aforementioned misinformation.
Mine get wet inside due to bad drainage. My doctor told me to gently insert and pull the q tip outward while swirling instead of plunging it in and out like a lot of people do. It works great. I've never had an issue.
Same! The wet is so awful!
My ears aren’t self cleaning. Had to go to the Dr. to blow out a massive wad of wax. The body isn’t perfect.
Have you considered an irrigator? It's basically a syringe, sans needle, with a tip on the end that splits the water stream. Works wonders for me. Flushes wax out instead of pushing it deeper in.
Except people that don't clean + dry their ears get more wax and problems
I don't know why it's getting upvoted
You must be new to social media.
I dont doubt the risks but I wear ear plugs for work and ear buds elsewhere. Not cleaning the ears gets pet gross pretty fast.
E: or at least the opening to the ear before the canal. It also makes it easier after a hot shower
Because we don't care if it's something we shouldn't be doing. We're gonna do it anyways :P
No amount of downvotes will make me stop.
They’re not for cleaning ears, any otolaryngologist would slap you for saying that.
The main risk isn’t that they’ll blow out an eardrum, but it creates wax impactions which can build up and give you ear infections and lead to other kinds of infection, like a fungal or mold growth.
The ear is self cleaning. You don’t need to enter the ear canal, wax moves outside as you talk and chew. When you use a q-tip you interfere with that self cleaning mechanism by matting the fine hairs responsible for moving earwax normally
Yes it’s fine just leave little pieces of hairy ear wax be visible when people look at you from the side. Don’t blow/wipe your nose. Boogers are natural. Also don’t wash your ass. It’s self cleaning we didn’t evolve with bidets. Worst case scenario have a fellow primate pick on it.
And don’t get me started on the horrors of using deodorant.
You can wipe the OUTSIDE of the ear canal, but you shouldn’t put anything smaller than your finger in your ear to avoid risk of wax compactions.
And if blowing your nose could lead to permanent hearing loss you better believe I’d listen to an otolaryngologist when they tell me how to do it safely.
Also, nobody has ever claimed that the ass was self cleaning. You’re picking the weirdest strawman arguments pal, these are false equivalencies. We know your genitals and rear produce an inordinate amount of bacteria, it’s why we have to change our underwear so frequently
Sincere question : Were they invented by doctors, or by a company that has no obligation to respect the danger of sticking things in your ear? Companies make cigarettes and junk food even though they're not medically recommended.
My ENT says they see 1-3 idiots with cotton swab ear injuries every day
Years in the medical field and I’ve never seen this happen to anyone lol. Impacted cerumen, on the other hand (dried up earwax that gets shoved closer to the eardrums to the point where no more cotton swabs can reach), that is a regular day in the ENT office lol
Its not just morons blowing out their eardrums. Poking shit in your ear canals can push wax further in and cause impacted wax to block the canals. You shouldn't be putting anything into your ear canals other than a few drops of olive oil to help loosen up wax. If its blocked beyond that, you need to go to a doctor who can properly remove the wax
I use them for gun cleaning
Your arms must be really dirty
I use them to apply cream/ointments when my kids get cuts
Weird I just use a finger.
Weird I just use a cotton swab
Weird I don't have any kids
You're really not supposed to use anything (other than maybe a saline flush if you've got a blockage). Your ears have a natural self-cleaning mechanism, and the amount of wax your ears generate is only a problem when it becomes impacted -- and even then, you should see a doctor, not shove a stick in your ear.
Dear people who listen to people saying they are for cleaning ears, do not listen to them. I went partially deaf in both ears because I used them, and I had to have a procedure to clear them involving a water jet. The cause: an earwax blockage from pushing the wax deeper into the ear canal with cotton buds. Don't make my mistake. Partial deafness is only the first step. The other things I endured included nausea, painful pressure on the ear drum, and loss of balance.
What are we supposed to use to clean or itch our ears then?
I highly recommend the Cinere ear cleaners. One end is a scoop, the other has a honeycomb type head and sweet googly magoogly they satisfy the Ear G-Spot every time i need to clean out my ears. They’re made from soft plastic and exfoliated to soothe your skin.
"Brought to you by Carl's Jr."
Your ears are self cleaning. The wax is supposed to come out, that is the process.
I use Debrox, which my doctor recommended to me. It's like hydrogen peroxide so its bubbling and foaming in your ear canal to loosen up the ear wax. Then you flush it out with water. You can use an ear bulb syringe to do it but I prefer a water-powered ear cleaner because the water pressure is stronger. My ears feel so clean and my hearing is so good after I do this. Lol.
Debrox is the only thing that has worked for my ears.
Yeah, I've tried generic versions and other over-the-counter ear wax removals. Debrox still works best for me, too.
Ears are self-cleaning.
I hear you, but it feels so good and I'm not gonna stop using them. I know I'm not "supposed" to, but I'm gonna continue doing it anyways :P
No amount of downvotes will make me stop, and there's nothing you can do about it. :)
So you wash your ears in the shower first, rinse then dry with a cotton bud. You don't use your towel without cleaning your body first
Hemroids, roid rage
This is just another example of some in society basing life on the lowest (dumbest) denominator. The vast majority of people can safely use Qtips all our lives, but because a few idiots can't, we're supposed to live our lives based on them. Sorry, I won't.
I use them for cleaning tiny crevices. I'm not into make up, but other women I know use them for adjusting and removing make up and removing nail polish.
I actually had a doctor tell me to use them for ear cleaning. My ears do that burning, itchy running thing, and he told me to use them since it helped relieve the sensation.
They also work well for cleaning your nose out when it's the "too dry to blow" kind of clogged.
What causes that for you? I have eczema that makes the skin inside my ears really dry, so I overproduce earwax. It gets itchy and I have to constantly clean it. If I use my finger to scratch, then it just damages the skin, making it produce more earwax and that causes stinging pain to the cuts. It's an endless cycle. I can't use earbuds at all because of it.
Anything sinus related [allergies, head colds, sinus infections]. I can wear earbuds - the combo of the pressure and texture is soothing - but they will need cleaned more frequently.
I recommend those hard, pointy tipped q-tips intended for manicures for cleaning earbuds and around the nose piece of wire rimmed glasses. The fine tip is perfect for de-gunking those things.
Every time I try to wear earbuds, they literally slip out of my ears within a few minutes. If I use the things that make them hang off the top of my ears for more support, they just end up feeling like my ears are full of liquid. It's awful.
I use small makeup brushes for cleaning electronics. I only use cotton swabs for my ears/piercings, and only the good quality ones. Something about a reusable ear cleaner makes me want to vomit, even though I know it's perfectly clean and better for the environment.
The skin in your ears grows in such a way that is slowly moves wax out. Most of the time if you do nothing the wax will naturally maintain a healthy amount in there, no poking needed. You need some wax in your ear for protection from bugs and fungus and stuff. Cleaning your ears with swabs might push the wax further in, and sometimes strands of cotton get stuck and mix with the wax creating a plug. You can get ear cleaning kits at the drugstore, but the liquid included with them can be irritating. My ears tend to plug up after I get sick so I just use the squeeze bulb that came with an ear cleaning kit and some distilled water. I do this as seldom as possible.
A dental scraping tool is my got to. Small with a flaired end. Perfect.
You're not supposed to stick anything in your ears. It's fine and normal to have earwax in your ear. You can clean the outsides of your ears with cotton swabs, just don't stick them in your ear canals. Cotton swabs are good for a lot of different precise cleaning, applying and removing makeup, lots of craft and household uses. They're very useful. Just don't stick them right down in your ears. You generally don't need to clean the inside of your ear canals and if you do, get them flushed. You can get proper ear canal cleaning kits.
What if you just enjoy the feeling of ear hole penetration?
Still don't. Or do. I'm a rando on reddit not your dad.
So I should get my dad to penetrate my ear. Good advice! Thank you kind stranger
Rando Bandro
Well shit, I was hoping you were my dad.
Earwax is actually good, it protects your ears from dust, bugs, and random junk. Your ears even have this cool self-cleaning system, where wax just kinda works its way out on its own when you talk or chew. You can try using a warm, damp washcloth to clean the outer part. But let’s be real, everyone uses them for ears at some point. It just feels too good.
I use them on the insides of my ears. Don’t have impacted earwax because I’m not an idiot.
I use them to clean my video game controllers with iso alcohol.
Mostly for cleaning up mascara or fixing lipstick.
So I use them a lot for makeup.
I think you're supposed to use your elbow?
Help making Star Wars movie
This literally depends on your ear canal size and if it's over-waxed to start. A lot of people don't have enough room to do anything but push wax inward.
I'm not one of them. But I know what happens because I went through a period of using ear plugs for sleeping. It causes build up and that shit will plug your ear if you are pushing the wax inward. Then it's all about olive oil and squirting water in the ear till a horrendous ball of wax comes out.
I use bobby pins
You are supposed to use them on your ear and also not sue when you push too hard.
If I don't use qtips to clean my ears, I will have a wax blockage to the point of hearing loss within a month, and those are difficult and annoying to fix. I don't push the wax further in because I never miss a day, and wax never has a chance to build up to the point that could happen. but yeah if you already have wax in there you might push it in, and that's bad.
Your ear canal is self cleaning. Actions like chewing, talking, yawning, etc., work the muscles that push wax out. You can use cotton swabs to clean your outer ear. You can use cotton swabs to clean all sorts of things. Putting them in your ear canal is how you get impacted wax that can damage your hearing.
I used to use them for carefully cleaning my game cartridges.
Ooh good idea!
They are supposed to clean your ears. Not your ear canal.
Ideally the ears clean themselves most of the time. Wax is a protective coating for the ear canal that should be left where it is unless you have a blockage. If you have a blockage you should see a ear specialist rather than trying to DIY something and risk damaging your eardrum and possibly causing infection or hearing loss.
Cotton swabs are primarily used for cleaning makeup or really just small scale cleaning in general.
Wax builds up in my ears. They are NOT self cleaning.
I need to use a Walmart earwax kit from time to time. Liquid softens the wax, syringe blasts out the wax.
A Bobby pin helps to loosen the wax after treatment with the liquid.
Can you explain the bobby pin part?
Have you seen the ear cameras they connect with your phone by Bluetooth and come with small scoopers to get wax out. Also has a blue light that disinfects.
You can use them for general cleaning but stupid people perforate their eardrums ... so generally the medical community frowns on the idea.
It's like saying to people you can fix your car .. But dumb people put their wheels on wrong and cause accidents
What no one seems to address is the dilemma of hearing aid wearers. “Don’t put anything in your ears,” you say? What about hearing aids that push the ear wax further in? I avoid Qtips, but flushing methods just don’t work very well and I wish there were better home remedies.
Twist the fuzz into a soft point with some spit to hold it, and probe right into your itchy ears. It's safe if it's very soft.
Better than an orgasm if you hit the right spot.
The warning is likely to separate any legal consequences that someone may attempt to file against the company for what’s been announced as misuse. I think it’s all about legal issues.
They’re a poor man’s paint brush
Clean with soap/shampoo in shower then q-tip all the way in (be delicate but precise) and twist while you pull out. Gets all the gunk.
I Use a bobby pin for ear cleaning. Very satisfying. In a pinch, the cap from a bic pen. The classic clear pens.
They were originally called Baby Gays and were meant for the outer ear and nostrils and other hard-to-reach sensitive areas.
Cleaning the nail after taking a dab
You’re not supposed to clean your ears at all usually. That’s what the earwax is naturally doing for you, your ears clean themselves. Rarely, the earwax doesn’t clear out enough on its own and builds up, in which case a doctor can remove it for you and might give you a special treatment. Never a q-tip though.
To add another niche application - I use them to clean an airbrush after painting, something that’s narrow and can absorb the cleaning liquid is a godsend.
They're good for painting!
There are some great miniature painting techniques where those are required.
Cleaning smegma
Good for cleaning the runners of sliding windows.
There's a little reusable stick thingy that you can use to clean your ears. It scrapes the cerumen out but the size is made so it doesn't go all way to the tympan. You can get it from the pharmacies and hearing aid shops. Im surprised how nobody talks about them
Your ears are self cleaning. You shouldn't put anything smaller than your elbow in them.
You aren’t supposed to clean your ears out, that’s the job of the earwax you’re trying to remove.
Olive oil or hydrogen peroxide ear drops, once a fortnight, is what ur meant to clean ur ears with. Cotton buds are meant for makeup.
What is peroxide vs oil for. Seems quite different
I use them for anything that requires swabbing. With cotton
I use them to clean behind the ear and the exterior of the ear.
They are for cleaning the contacts on Nintendo games with isopropyl alcohol.
Cleaning your ears. The box just says they aren't for liability reasons.
They're designed for wound care electronics cleaning and makeup touch ups. For your ears you're supposed to trust that they know what they're doing and clean themselves.
Dipped in iso for cleaning the resin/wax out of my Mighty+
I’ve used them my ears with them my whole life and I’m fine lol, but I have like zero ear wax. (I use them after a shower to dry out my ears.) If you have really waxy ears, though, using a Q-tip can shove the wax deeper in and that’s bad. So I guess it’s easier to just say, don’t use them in your ears, than don’t use them in your ears if you have waxy ears. Cause you know, people like to sue.
According to my doctor, the inside of the ear is self-cleaning and requires no manual cleaning at all. (Under normal circumstances, at any rate)
An actual answer - strictly speaking, the gold standard is a tiny vacuum attachment on an otoscope, so a trained health professional can directly visualise what they are doing and avoid injuring you.
Ear syringing and flushing with saline, hydrogen peroxide, oil, even ethyl alcohol are used, but I've been told they are more dangerous, less complete, and tend to leave moisture within the ear canal.
Realistically if it's just earwax you can use a commercial kit from a pharmacy and it'll be fine.
We use them to clean industrial embroidery machines 😅 other than that arts and crafts lol
I asked my doctor this exact question after years of guilt cleaning my ears with Q tips. She told me to just use a damp washcloth on the outer part and let my ears naturally clean themselves.
I use them to clean the ports on my hummingbird feeders.
It’s Tounge in cheek warning. Like when they used to sell bongs as plant watering accessories.
Warm water and hydrogen peroxide.
I mostly use them to clean my ears, but I build a lot of models so I use them to clean my airbrushes, remove excess paint, smudging and weathering, etc.
Cleaning out the honey bucket.
You can take 1 square of toilet paper, fold it in half, then in half again. Then twist one end. I do that when I forget to bring Q-tips when traveling.
You can pry my q-tips out of my cold dead hands before I'll give them away and stop putting them in my ears. 🗡️
Read the back of the box. Makeup application/removal and cleaning delicate knick knacks or electronics are what I usually see suggested
I pick my nose with them
They used to make an actual ear cleaning tool. Q Tips (called cotton buds in Australia) are too thick and tend to just push the wax further in. The tool is hard to describe. It had a little wooden handle and a piece of wire ( not really wire, a bit like the metal big safety pins are made out of). The wire came straight down on one side and then became a loop bent out at about 20 degrees and then straight up and back into the handle. It’s very hard to describe. Because the wire was a loop there were no sharp bits to hurt your ear. It worked as if it were a little spoon. They worked but I haven’t seen one for a long time so maybe it was decided they were unsafe. You could buy them in pharmacies.
Cleaning my dab rig
I use them to remove stuck shed from my leopards toes
Cosmetics, mostly. Of course I also use them for my ears.
I am surprised nobody said they use q-tips to pop pimples. Better to use them than my dirt fingertips.
They're excellent for cleaning gunked-up ink out of old fountain pen parts.
For cleaning ear cannals I've been recommended to use the shower. Basically let the shower spray water directly into your ear cannal.
They also sell an earwax solvent near the pharmacy. Basically you put the solvent in your ear, let it sit in the cannal for a while, and then rinse it out. Chunks of nasty looking earwax are llikely to come out if successful.
Worth discussing how to clean your ear cannals with your doctor on your next visit. And to check for blockages and other problems with your ear cannals.
If you're using water to clean them, how do you dry them?
Tilts head
Toilet paper alternative.
My ears are spotless. I use them every single day.
Wire brush or angle grinder for your ears
I’m guessing they were originally for ears but then the companies changed marketing after realizing it was bad to put in ear
Cleaning your keyboard.
I use them to clean my ears. Just don't ram them into your ear canal like a psycho and you'll be fine.
Pharmacy told me to use some kind of spray that maid the wax softer then rinse the ears.
You're not supposed to clean the wax out of your ears unless it's actually blocking your ears
It's there for a reason
If you have buildup, take the cap off a hydrogen peroxide bottle. Fill half the cap with peroxide and the other half with warm water
drop it in your ear, let it sit for a bit, then dump the ear out
That's it
that's all you have to do
Qtips just shove the wax deeper into the ear canal
You aren't supposed to stick anything in your ear canals. The ears are naturally self cleansing. If you feel like wax is building up, turn your head sideways, add a few drops of olive oil , keep your head sideways for 5 minutes, and then repeat on the other side. The oil will loosen the wax, and it will come out over the next few days. Nobody should be sticking anything in your ear, other than a doctor, if you have a severe issue with impacted wax, usually caused by sticking objects such as cotton swabs in your ears.
Cotton swabs are for applying and removing makeup, cleaning around wounds, applying topical medications, in addition to various precision cleaning jobs in a non personal hygiene context
Applying/removing eyeliner and eyeshadow, gently applying ointments and creams, cleaning electronics, and delicately care for sensitive areas of babies. Or so the container of Q-tips on my desk says.
This guy reads.
Hey there whippersnapper, back in my day, things like Q-tip boxes and shampoo bottles were the only thing to read in the bathroom. That’s why I’m a man who knows what toxic shock syndrome is and what can cause it.
This was the answer my husband gave when the E.R. doctor asked him how he knew to bring me in for treatment. I went from arguing that I wasn't going to the hospital for hives to multiple organ failure in less than an hour. Thank God most of the arguing took place on the 45 minute ride to the hospital. If I'd waited and gone when I really felt sick I don't think I'd be here to truly appreciate your answer.
"Ammonia lauryl sulfate, ammonia lareth sulfate..."
I wonder what the difference is? Guess I'll never know because there isn't a way for me to look it up.
🤣
I'm guessing phone battery must've died while on the can. Had to go old school and read labels.
Like I said I have Q-Tips on my desk (for cleaning my ears and keyboard).
Your desk isn't a euphemism for the throne room? My honest mistake
I think more people in the world could use a toilet desk, I think you’re on to something here…
I have a library with no books.
It's where I do my paperwork
"Crest has been shown to be an effective dentifrice..."
You'll never learn anything if you waste all your time reading.
Does he though, lol? He didn’t answer the original question. What are you supposed to use?
I use Q-tips to clean up the mascara that gets on my eye lids after applying. My lashes are long and curly. I also use them to remove the mascara that inevitably gets caught in the inner corner of my eyes.
I also use Q-tips to apply cover-up to blemishes.
And, I use Q-tips to clean my belly button.
Doesn’t a vacuum cleaner work better for belly button lint?
Haha, I wouldn't know. I've never had belly button lint.
Everyone should clean their belly button on a regular basis. It's just basic hygiene. Plus, they collect sweat, dirt, and bacteria which can lead to odors and infections.
If your navel is an outie, it's entirely possible that dedicated cleaning is not particularly necessary. Daily showers have been sufficient my whole life.
Huh, I’ve been told by doctors to never do that. Had a resident at the care home where I worked who kept using Q-tips for her belly button. She also kept getting an infected belly button from it and have to go see a doctor who told us we needed to make her not do that. The belly button had its own bacterial flora and disturbing that will just cause issues or something like that as I remember.
That Q-tip container living its best multitasking life 😂 ears just happen to be the forbidden fruit.
Also for cleaning the outer ear, not the inner ears.
If i remember, q-tip company probably had lawsuit when they didn't have that warning and people shoved it in too deep.
