Are these going to be the same dudes who were on way back when? They were painful to watch. Except when they fell in a ditch chasing someone.
No. Those guys from the LPD days were from the West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office and their special ops unit. They were pretty cool to me and I loved their more proactive approach in catching the criminals and abusers off guard.
They’ll be following the City of Baton Rouge officers this time around. Can’t wait to see another different and bigger city!
That was West Baton Rouge, where they called themselves the Boogaloo Boys
You’re thinking of West Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office. They’re across the river from Baton Rouge.
BRPD Street Crimes was previously on First Responders Live, but most of them have been fired or arrested since then because they were caught bringing people back to a vacant warehouse to beat and strip search them.
Baton Rouge has so much wild shit happen every night it should be very interesting if they don’t neuter it.
You are probably referring to the West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office. They were, in fact, on Live PD in Season 4. ☺️
Yes, thank you!
You are welcome! 😊

I was thinking of the West Baton Rouge Sheriff's Department that were on Live PD in 2020.

With BRPD’s interesting past, this may just be a PR stunt being on the show since what we see is heavily curated and distilled. I like seeing new departments but always set my expectations exceedingly low.
So who we losing? Las Vegas going away? They aren't on the show much.
I think this is the reason Monroe is no longer on.
They have been shown more than Clayton and Lee recently. Also, I think McDonald County is only a 2 week run.
This is great news. With being the state capitol and LSU, should be a lot going on.
You likely won’t see anything on campus as LSUPD handles that, but you’ll see everything surrounding campus which is, bad, to say the least. And if they’re still filming during football season that should produce some content.
New departments are always good to have.
You will get tired of them cliff bars fairly quickly
As a resident of baton rouge, I'm excited!
