Can someone answer this for me, Do the light bars make a high frequency sound? Here's why I ask, when you have a K-9 car they could be chilling in the back and as soon as the lights go on, they start getting agitated. I can understand when there is a siren, but this starts happening before. Or are they that perceptive?
It's simply that they recognize the lights and siren=time to go to work going after the bad guys!

Last Mattress Firm product I bought I threw out in 4 years for the springs poking through.
Bought a replacement from Amazon. Delivery and unpacking was comical, but I don’t see myself getting rid of it on its 4th anniversary. It’s way better.
Was it one of those that came in a toaster box and expanded in 47 different directions while you stand back?
It wasn't quite that compressed, and it took over a day to expand. But yeah, I didn't know they could pack mattresses so tightly.
The comedic part was that it was still a ludicrously long package. Looked like I was getting a Patriot missile delivered. 😆

Getting seriously desperate for some Pacific Northwest coverage. No not California, the north west . Washington, Oregon, and Idaho but ESPECIALLY Washington deserves a space on the show. Just because we are surrounded by trees doesn’t mean we don’t have crime. Just in the last two months someone tried to jump off the Lewis and Clark bridge (they were rescued safely) and also a sheriff stbed and kied a drunk man in Ridgefield Wa at the weigh station because he tried to grab his gun. Where is this coverage? How about the guy in Seattle who ki**ed his three daughters and is STILL on the run. Seriously? Still no coverage? What in the world. This show is desperately needing a change of pace. We in Washington welcome you back..please???
Nothing else exciting goes on in Ridgefield, that was a fluke. Thurston County would be my vote, we've seen a lot of Triple Plays out of there lately. Just like Everett, it's a well-populated area in close proximity to a large city so you get ALL kinds.
I know of zero exciting counties here in OR, and I for one wouldn't want to end up on the show the next time I get pulled for speeding 🙈 but I'd be the rarity with NO drugs or guns and a valid license and insurance.
There is plenty going on near me in Vancouver, Longview, Castle rock, maybe not so much Ridgefield and LaCenter but definitely the surrounding areas. The amount of high speed chases that happen on I5 all the time is definitely worth note. If anybody from production would monitor the Katu news Facebook page they would see lots of stories worth coverage. I would love to see live cams in Vancouver and Seattle at the least, but I would love some in Longview, Centralia, and a few more smaller cities. I wouldn’t mind being on the show because I know I’m not doing anything wrong!
Hey there's actually a standoff happening in Milwaukie right now 😅 I'm listening in on Broadcastify for ClackCo Law 1. Nothing real exciting tho, they've called for SWAT w/ armored car...kinda reminiscent of that big standoff that happened on OPL in Richland County last year I think it was?
I'm blanking on which city in Washington they were following earlier this year but I really enjoyed the addition of a city that wasn't in the south (as much as I love our southern agencies). The difference in vibe is nice. Just too bad that the time difference seems to mean less crazy antics are happening during air time
