Ok guys, so this was Tank Man “Stuffed version”: That means that there’s a smaller version of Tank Man that Luffy must have practiced with.

I really think 4th Gear simply has three separate forms, bounce man, tank man, and snake man. I don’t think tank man is an extension of bounce man.

Wouldn’t he just call that “Tank Man” without the “stuffed version”? That implies there’s an unstuffed version.
bounce man - balanced
tankman - high defense/damage, low speed
snakeman - lower defense/damage, high speed
“Low speed”… As far as I can tell he is immobile in that form. Don’t rack your head too much about it though, I don’t think he’ll ever use it again…
I know we're really far past it with Gear 5th but I always liked the idea of Gear 4th having 4 forms, bound being the default and a defense, speed and offense form.

For me, this is one of Luffy's most under-rated fights. He had a very poor match up against someone who could summon infinite tanks, Luffy's a melee fighter. We got to see a Luffy x Nami combat team-up. Something we haven't seen since Orange Town, Skypeia was more of an assist. And that ending where he says, "Fly away, to the ends of the new world!" And sends Cracker flying across Whole Cake Island and delivers his broken and beaten body right back to his mama was a perfect ending for such an arrogant asshole.

Bro same, I also just reached those episodes and so far, I they are great. PS:Tankman is overpowered.
So there’s Luffy fighting a lieutenant and it needs to be a hard fight, but if he gets his ass kicked it wouldn’t make sense for him to win against the much harder enemies later. So he fights in this goofy-ass style and it satisfies both requirements. I think it’s hilarious.
