I heard on a podcast that almost every actress wears a wig, the amount of product they would have to put in her hair every day would destroy it.
Beat me to it. The dye would damage her hair more than she is comfortable with.
To get consistant, bright orange they'd need to bleach and dye. Then anytime the roots show (which happens sooner than you think) they'd need to do it again - obviously not on the whole head but still. I used to bleach and dye my hair and its a PAIN to maintain.
Consistency. Hair can grow. And fixing hair for girls takes about 3 hours.

Live action is a separate entity . I don't even relate it to the manga or anime. It's its own thing unrelated to one piece
I consider it to be One Piece, just a different version of it.
Emily's Nami isn't THE Nami, but she is A Nami. All the core elements of Nami are there, but just a little bit different.
