A little depressing, but a tribute to one of my best friends
Hey y’all, I figured this sub would enjoy this tribute for one of my best friends. He passed back in December and I got some of his ashes in March when we held his celebration of life. He was the biggest One Piece fan I’ve ever known, it was the one subject he would always be down to talk about for hours and hours at a time and he always encouraged everyone to watch it.
The Jolly Roger flag was one of his many One Piece paintings that his parents let me keep and the treasure chest with his name has his ashes. My girlfriend painted it and put this little shrine together for him and I got to come home to it today and bawl my eyes out. So I figured I’d shared this with everyone here, I felt it’s a very touching tribute for him

That's beautiful bro. I know how you're feeling. One of my oldest friends, also a big One Piece fan like me, was sedated in palliative care yesterday. He will be gone soon, fucking cancer... Almost crying right now seeing your post.
