3 games back to back I had leavers. 3 games in a row man!
Yeah it's ridiculous. I don't understand why this is happening either specifically in pro. In elite and lower there's less of it and my games were 10x easier and a breeze to get through. I get to pro and it's 10x insanely harder. I get there's probably supposed to be a bump in increase of difficulty and I'm fine with that but not 100 levels of a jump where you often can't progress and it feels like a 2-3v5 a majority of the time. I don't understand.
Man we had one last night where an opponent left after his team WON round 1. Because of that they were forced into 4 straight 4v5 stadium rounds where they just got creamed the whole time.
i swear blizzard is measuring stadium wrong when they say there's the same amount of leavers as normal ranked
maybe if they consider every round to be a match that's correct but there's no way im seeing leavers on my or the enemy team every single match while they claim it's just as low as normal ranked
I had that happen. Bounced around low and high pro 1 for ages, without ever ranking up or down.
My rank up game - I won automatically because someone on the enemy team crashed out over their auto pick and the rest of their team gave up.
It's great queueing as support, waiting 10-15 min to get a game, then getting a leaver and of course losing the game, then getting thrown back into a 10-15 min queue.
For real, got myself up to All Star 5, half way to 4. Then I got into a streak of people leaving and new players and I'm back down Pro 4.

Idk why but the climb was so easy for me this season. I'm already all star 2 which is higher than I got last season.
I did have a massive loss streak at Pro 1 tho, like 5 losses in a row. Then barely lost since, so hopefully same happens for you my friend.
Hopefully. Right now it's just the same as last season where I can't get past pro 2 no matter how hard I try. Victory, loss, victory, loss, rage quit, rage quit, back to pro 3 - elite 5. It's so frustrating and discouraging.
I had that, but mine was All star 3. Was stuck in that for 6 weeks and never left it.
Idk which role you play, but Lucio is really strong for me. Can make a poor tank better just from speed boost and you constantly booping the enemy tank.
Support. I don't play Lucio often. I play an "okay" Lucio but the rest of the stadium roster I can play fairly well and I still don't have a lucky rabbit's foot of a hero. It's just luck for me if the match goes well with who I picked and I try to pick according to which would compliment the comp.
My favorites though are Juno, Kiriko, Moira and Zen.
Stick to whatever suits you best. I picked up Lucio last season after I reached all star and have 60% win rate this season lol.
His healbot builds can be insane on clash/control maps, and you don't need to be an amazing lucio player to play it. Can pump 10K+ heals. Team comp isn't as important in stadium as it is comp, so one tricking a hero isn't so bad. At least that's what I tell myself.
One thing that takes no skill to do, is call outs. It's surprising how effective they can be and no-one else seems to comm in stadium.
The patch notes mentioned that the amount of points needed to progress in elite+ have been reduced.
Yeah, that was halfway through last season. I'm still past my highest last season with like 30% of the gametime.
No the adjustment was this this season.

My best friend got it recently which makes me feel worse about it. I know it's just a skin but I wanted something to show I worked hard for it.
I stupidly thought this season would be different, an easier time at least and it's the same thing. So sick of the one sided games where there's a Mercy hard pocketing some dps killing us all or the whole team is just steam rolling us. I don't mind losing, I don't mind not winning all the time but goddamn. I went from a hot winning streak until I got to pro 2 and now I can't catch a break when it comes to the matchmaking. It really does feel like pure luck if you manage to get it.
Is it really that bad? I made it to all star on DPS already and didn't have almost any leavers and 0 throwers

i've been stuck in pro 1 for soooo long, i'll get a loss streak, be on the verge of de-ranking, then get a few wins, then another loss streak. genji is the BANE of my existence!! i play soldier, and if there's a genji it's almost assured we'll lose because he'll just go for me and it seems none of us can manage to deal with him ):

I genuinely do not understand how anyone hits All Star in this gamemode. The amount of leavers and poor matchmaking genuinely makes it impossible for most solo queue players to rank up because you will ALWAYS get a leaver or a brand new player on your team after winning 2 games in a row.
Just got to Pro 5 tonight. Sounds like I'm in for a bad time. Lost 5 in a row this morning then swapped off Ashe to Mei and went 7-2. Fingers crossed I can keep it going. Maybe we should team up on here and get across the finish line together?

i duoed with a lucio and we are both masters. we abused the most broken builds imaginable at the time and we both went like 35-3 every game and we got mvp every round no exception. and we BARELY made it to all star purely because the teams are just so ass its unreal. on tank you probably can jsut carry solo but on suport you ahve to litteraly have 3x your teams kills to be able to barealy inch out a win consistantly
I haven't this season on dps, but on tank I've just played jq. I have a similar win rate as exclusively solo queue, just got to all star. Also masters. Masters dps as well thinking of seeing if I can take this new reaper built off weapon power but teleport and lifesteal instead of the normal kill reset one. Alot of teams just want some spear, some initial kill
How the hell am I suppose to carry when our other Support/DPS is doing everything but?
just shoot them, on any dps/support/tank you can carry

i don't see how people do it. i've heard at pro they group up so make that's it. this season is rough all around (i don't know why you would smurf in stadium that's just silly same with throwing but people can be strange.)
