how do i keep up with the drops? are there any accs that post about it? i really want these skins!

I found this skin drop live on Twitch and required 3 hours watched on a 4 hour stream, 2 hours into the stream. There was basically 0 warning this would be the drop so if you don't spend every waking moment of your life checking half a dozen places you will miss something. It's beyond infuriating.
They want people to watch, but there are so few notice. At least tell us in game!
I've heard from an OW content creator that their internal schedule for drops is really a mess and last minute, so we get the worst from their lack of forward planning.
I see. They should have some improvement.
Every time I check twitch it's always just sprays and stuff so I don't watch have they been doing skins a different way?

Sometimes they miss drops
We have a dedicated esports account, @OWCEsports, that consistently posts whenever OWCS goes live. Since Cavalry is primarily a news-focused account, we typically only post about drops when theyâre newly announced. We don't usually post reminders there, as we already cover that on the Cavalry Esports account.
Would recommend dropping that (or the official Overwatch Esports account) a follow if you want reminders when the streams go live!
I'm pretty sure this hasn't been released as a Twitch drop yet. I also don't see it in the faceit shop. I have every non-shop skin since ow1 beta so I'd be bummed if this is the first one I've missed.
I use a bot on discord to notify me when there are drops, I used to use Owcavalry's discord but they miss sooo many drops

There used to be but now you have to follow it on youtube, x or twitch to be informed. Next drop is on the 19th

Youâre better off just following the official ow esports twitch channel, and set notifications on when they stream. Three times already they announce the twitch drops in the last second.

Not on twitch drop skins, and even then, you'd have to be looking through the skin gallery constantly to see if they've released a new skin and I'm not looking through ever character to see if there's a new drop skin
Okay I scroll through the heroes every now and then and set skins according to the season/month/holiday so ya thatâs time consuming.
How about you just "play the game" then instead of worrying about skins, or are you not gonna take your own advice

No it doesnât tell you in game right now or anymore. But I remember it was a notification at the bottom right on the main menu before when there were CAH drops. Iâm not saying they still do it, but they have announced it before. I wish I could find a screenshot somewhere but I know someone has to remember like I do, lol.

Itâs not about who the person mains so letâs not be rude. What matters is if the information is false or not. Yes they have announced twitch drops before for CAH on the bottom right of the main menu. With that being said though, they havenât done it in a very long time so the better source would be to either follow OWCalvary for posts (they post in their discord server as well) or check the website. https://esports.overwatch.com/en-us/rewards

Mercy mains are the first people to type tank diff after a match to me or hound me for playing Mauga.
Iâm sorry youâve experienced that kind of behavior. A lot of different mains are very toxic. I just donât think one main should speak for the entire player base even if itâs common. I hope you find nicer teammates.

Esports skins are also drops at times. :) Iâve gotten them from Twitch.
See I didnât even know that. I havenât gotten an OWL skin since OW1.
I find it weird that they were giving away these skins for every stage, but Faceit probably wanted people to earn the skins through their page so they made the Twitch drops spray and name cards... only for Faceit to stop giving skins as well so I have no idea what they are doing with the skins.
Face it does a stupid raffle system, where you have a chance to earn rewards for watching but they are not guaranteed or even remotely likely. I believe you can also get points to spend on face it shop, but you have to watch literally hundreds and hundreds of hours in order to get even the cheapest reward because again points are not guaranteed.
