Those Vortex Beater rockets being able to stagger enemies is such a huge boon. Today I wandered into the Lv60 Oil Rig unprepared and survived most enemies simply by just juggling them with explosions. Had to run away from the chopper tho.
For the chopper I could consistently beat it with a felbat 3 gobfins and at least 200 shots from the multi guided missile launcher. Essentially hack the chest then go to the pillar structure with the multiple rings of scaffolding.
are the gobfins maxed? if not, they significantly save ammo. I don't think I've used more than 100 rockets with three gobfins, fully condensed with vanguard and SS using my MGML. although my launcher is legendary so there is that
I got 1 maxed the other two are halfway and my rocket was green.
I usually just aggro the chopper then head to the little shack on one of the highest floors. The chopper can't damage you and you can poke out in between gatling gun shots and hit it with rockets / charged laser
Vortex Beater's rockets can stun lock humans. Not sure about pals but should work too. Quite a powerful CC weapon for these kinds of scenarios.
For future videos I recommend adding a white stroke around your dark text. The dark stroke with dark text on a dark background is difficult to read.
Good video, terrible color choice for font! I agree it needs some contrast to be able be more readable.
Next time OP! 🙂
Noted, will check other text options next time
I think the mk2 grenades can stun lock him
I wonder if there is a way to make everyone on the opposite team aggro on me. I don't have a very good combat pal team, but is maxed out in equipment, their attacks doesn't hurt me at all, but are capable of killing my pals in a matter of seconds.
I noticed that if I'm mounting my main pal, I get targeted quite often. Probably because I then count as 2 out of 4 possible targets + I'm a huge threat due to the damage I do.
I wouldn't recommend facetanking damage above diamond tho, you will get killed, better to dodge it instead
In PvP mode or PvE mode? I think even the PvE masters rank didn't hit as hard as the Lv60 oil rig enemies.
PvP mode
Granted, I only do master rank, but even with a gold hexolite armor, helmet and the latest shield, I will get shredded if I don't evade the attacks
I believe Pal Professor did a video showing that electric grenade spam is most efficient at keeping arena enemies stunned. They're quite cheap to buy and craft in comparison
this is what I have been doing, and didnt even know Pal Professor did a video on it. Electric grenade spam feels cheesy as hell, but goddamn it works. Until they get the master trainers more balanced, it's gonna be my go-to strat.
ESPCIALLY useful against the Moonflower Jonin fights. Those guys are bastards.
I wouldn't rely on grenade stun. they're slow to roll out, can bounce to unexpected places, you're unable to quick-correct them if the target moves away from the radius and AFAIK, enemies receivestatus effect resistance the more you hit them with status effects
Grenade stun is extremely reliable. Slow roll, no you can continuously throw them very quickly. Bounce places, you just aim for the feet of where you are throwing. Quick correct, yeah just aim at the feet where the tamer is currently at. Effects, the MK2 will stun the tamer 100% of the time every blast.
I open the fight with a Rocket Launcher shot, which commonly knocks the trainer closer to being stuck in a "corner" (it's a circular arena, but you get the idea). Then it's not so hard to just pile on the grenades.
The Moonflower Jonins are tougher, because they can dash around with their sword.
That's the same strategy for all the trainers at that level. The dr is the worst 2 shots, and my pal is dead.
I wouldn't say so. Against all other tamer that don't use a minigun, I simply shoot at the pals to kill and only very rarely do they kill even one of my pals
I just juggle them with the rocket launcher. Works against all tamers.
That final beam of water at the end was perfect. Well done.
water?
From the huge pal, that looks like a water jet across the field just before the victory fanfare.
