I got tired of fighting Bastardgor to access the feed box, or trying to grapple past Frostallion's wings. So, since I had some extra books, I made this happy little guy!

In my experience, Cooling 5 on its own is more than enough to extend the spoil timers to the point where you don't need to worry about it. Since you don't really need the extra time and Cooling doesn't seem to drain San, I put Master of Fasting/Diet Lover/Dainty Eater on my refrigerator bros since 99% of the spoil timer advancement happens while they're eating.
I had been using Vanwyrm Cryst because it's naturally Nocturnal, but having a small little Jolthog Cryst instead is almost definitely worth having Vampiric instead of Remarkable Craftsmanship.
Polapups are highly recommended. Those adorable derps just snore next to the box so thematically it suits them having nocturnal.
i have 2 with vampiric hearth of the immovable king artsam and work slave just for the fridge and food pot lol
Never had use for sanity passives. My Shroomers help with that, and I want them to eat often for food buffs. I make so much food I have to sell most of it. The new hot springs make a huge difference as well.
