The Best Flying Mounts At Every Level In Palworld Tides of Terraria And How To Get Them

I really don't think it's feasible to recommend new players to catch the Legendaries at level 50 when those have been bumped up to 60 from the recent update. Most people wouldn't have good spheres by then and they'd have to gamble on like 2% catch rates, which would be frustrating. They're better off just breeding any of the flying mounts at their level (Shadowbeak or Faleris) to have good passives first until they reach Level 60.

This is the most optimal way to get the best flying mounts while progressing in Palworld: Tides of Terraria.

1. At level 15, catch Nitewing at Grassy Behemoth Hills. (185, -467)
2. At level 20, breed Elphidran using Vanwyrm and Nitewing.
3. At level 34, catch Beakon in the Deep Sand Dunes. (525, 530)
4. At level 36, catch Quivern at the Sealed Realm of the Winged Tyrant. (-258, -128)
5. At level 47, catch Shadowbeak at Wildlife Sanctuary No. 3 (651, 632) — or get it using my breeding guide.
6. At level 48, both Frostalion (-363, 507) and Frostalion Noct (-1082, -1321) are top-tier, but they’ll be really hard to catch at this level!
7. At level 50, Jetragon (-794, -323) is the fastest mount in the game.
8. And at level 60, a fully condensed Xenolord is nearly as fast as Jetragon—but with a much higher stamina pool!
9. The best passives for flying mounts are: Eternal Engine, Swift, Infinite Stamina, and Runner.
10. You can get the last two from the Arena and apply them to any Pal using the Surgery Table. The other passives will require a bit of luck with catching.
11. Then breed and use Yakumo to increase your chances of getting Pals with the passives you want. Good luck!

Don’t you still have to catch elphidrian to be able to craft the mount?

I always just breed a really fast Beakon and use it until jetdragon

Is Quivern worth upgrading to at 36 now? I remember being disappointed with it at launch because it felt so slow but I did see they rebalanced some riding speeds. Is Quivern much nicer now? 👀

I haven't been playing for half a year, but hearing that I can give pals traits without having to catch a pal billions of times or breed them another billions of times sounds like a game changer that wants me to play again.

I spent, like, 4 hours last night making a perfect mount Faleris, because they're my favorite flying mount Pal. But it's sooooo fast.

It's also useful to factor in having fire/Ice mounts for traveling to opposing zones, jet dragon doesn't have that benefit
