This is Ghislaine Maxwell, known associate of for Jeffrey Epstein. She was charged with procuring and trafficking underage girls, but the current administration is claiming Jeffrey Epstein did not do these things and that he killed himself (unlike what the memes would suggest
So how should she be in jail for something that "totally didn't happen" is the crux of this meme
Btw, given this confusion is common, I should note that they're not saying she didn't traffick girls, they're saying she trafficked them for Epstein himself and not for "clients". Which is the same thing the reporting so far has indicated: They were trafficked for him to rape and sometimes also get other rich guys to join in raping them with him. It's still illegal if she trafficked them for him, and I'm not sure why people apparently think it would be legal if it was just for him.

procuring girls for Epstein himself would count as trafficking if they were brought to him for the purpose of having sex. it doesn't require any kind of "list".

Not keeping or maintaining a client list is not the same thing as not trafficking for clients. His primary service was tax dodging services, where he took between 5% and 10% of the money saved in taxes. The rest was just "hospitality" to acquire the richest tax dodgers, to maximize how much that 10% was from. And, likely, personal predilection.

She has been tried and convicted. They aren't saying Epstein didn't do these things they are saying no one else was involved. It's still clearly bullshit but at least understand the lies they are telling.
I am never one to jump to the defense of the worst administration the US has had, but I think the FBI is just saying that an actual list of clients does not exist, despite the attorney general saying she had it on her desk.

I think they are just saying he didn't keep a list of the clients, not that there weren't any or he didn't do it. Just that he didn't keep it in a list. (I am not saying it is true or not)

From what I've heard, part of the issue is the list was used as evidence against her - the same list that they're now claiming doesn't exist. I trust that the issue is obvious.

it is likely that the list is better protected because certain foreign actors with experience in hacking are interested in protecting the list for their own geopolitical pushes
The system the list is stored on is likely air-gapped (not connected to the internet) so it’d be impossible for hackers to leak the list, unless it was an inside job like an Edward Snowden type situation.
The joke has been explained, but the real answer to the question the meme is asking is that she is in jail for trafficking girls to Epstein himself.
