It also doesn’t just mean that anymore. This isn’t 1900. Nearly every definition also includes injury or “severe injury” by electricity, even if labeled as an informal use. It’s also used for accidental deaths, not just executions because it’s not 1900. If the common use of a word changes, so does the definition.

Yeah as a metalhead dude with multiple facial piercings (well my snake bites fell out i just have my septum thay i plan on stretching but point still stands) usually wears some kinda satanic or gory band shirt you're exactly right. A lot of people give me looks but they don't completely degrade me as a person for how i look. At worst i get called a freak or laughed at occasionally. But when we exist in a way that men can't fetishize and sexualize we're freaks to them.
