I mean having someplace where I can download models for the board/cards and everything related and then print them.
It's not on par with the regular game since I'll use paper or something to print on but it's better than nothing.
So anyway if such a thing exist where can I find out more?
I mean there is huge collection of card/board game asstes on the Tabletop Simulator Workshop
on steam. You can download the games and then extract the models from them.
Board games are very different from each other. Some are very simple (a board, a deck of card and a set of dices) that you can easily find just by searching,
some are very complex (many decks, "3d" board, many sets of dices) and you may need some "photoshop" skills to adjust and get rid of watermarks.
I'm not aware of a single site.
for reference on quality:
https://printabletemplates.com/graphics/board-game/#Board_Game_TemplateS
non-free ($3) :
I'm talking about the simple ones, with the board and cards and sometimes small plastic/wood players that can be easily replaced.
uh? then just search for :
"monopoly board printable"
"monopoly cards printable"
"monopoly money printable"
or any other board game.
i mean with enough effort you could honestly play basically any board game on google slides with some dice
Yeah, it's just very high effort. Printables (.com) has quite a few boards that can be downloaded for free and 3D printed, I know a few people that have made their own custom Catan games.
A user on r/witcher also made a set of printable sheets with the Gwent cards. You can find that post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/witcher/comments/37d7z7/i_made_printable_sheets_containing_all_the_gwent/
i saw this, but to my understanding, there's now an official Gwent game, and it has many different cards and effects that are new. I was mainly looking for that tbh, though this is amazing as well.
3d print Warhammer
Just order them from Aliexpress. They are like less than half the price and printing is pretty okay
I have a couple of board games from AliExpress, I don't see any differences in quality from what I can tell
I have a lot, quality wise they are pretty good. Maybe image sizes or font sizes differ but nothing major. I do receive copyright infringement mails from them for the games I order though 😂saying the item I ordered is no longer available because of ip laws etc
You could probably easily google every single card in Cards against Humanity or Uno then print every single card to use yourself
I guess for other games you would 3d print objects you use to play whatever game you want
The challenge is making your own board
CaH literally has a free print it yourself version.
Another of their games, secret hitler, also has a print and play pdf
I was talking more so things along the line like Catan or Gwent, where you don't have good quality pictures of everything online just regularly.
