i dont know why people downvoted me but with altstore, you need your computer online at all times to act as a server and altstore downloads things slower. trollstore doesnt need the server and you can download apps way way faster

You need to connect it to install, but if you use a setup correctly, then you should be fine to use it at school. Follow a tutorial on r/sideloaded .
