Piracy

When using qBittorrent, how do I know which file to download from search engine plugins?

I'm asking this as it is my first time, and I don't want to infect my computer.

Also, is the pirate bay good/reliable since it's the only seach engine I recognise from the list?

The pirate bay isn't the real pirate bay anymore. That site is dead and gone and the current one is a clone. If you are just downloading video amd audio files its probably okay to use but dont download any games or programs from there

I've only used the search plug in a couple of times but you pretty much just get the title right? The only way i can think to "check" is start downloading then go to the contents tab and check all the file extension to see if they are what they should be and remove it if not

Howdy.

To be honest, I've never used the search engine plugin. Only ever used magnet links.

I wouldn't trust the pirate bay for software, but for music / videos etc it's still fine. There is a list of more reliable torrent search sites in the megathread: https://www.reddit.com/r/Piracy/wiki/megathread/all_purpose/

Personally, I've embraced the fitgirl repack life.
