I was looking to see if there is or when there would be a Blu-ray release date as it's only available on the standard piracy sites as a NF Rip. Stumbled across this listing.
what you're seeing is scamming. selling a burned pirated movie that he torrented. buying a month of netflix and watching the movie is literally cheaper.
The point is if someone want a physical copy and or doesnt have the knowledge of pirating
Lazy bitch only used the 1080p version wtf
UHD Disks are expensive.
You'd still make a profit at $25
You are paying for the time to create this custom works, but it comes with no artwork, no jacket, just the burnt DVD. Not only piracy but intend to monetize it, and make profit from it.
I’m all for this but since it IS pirated it should be really cheap
Side note, banging film can we all agree?
Absolutely banging. "Golden" is my new favorite.
100%, it's so good.
I listen to the songs when I'm out on my motorbike, Soda Pop goes hard, get the shoulders involved too (can't help myself)
Region code: Americas, SE Asia
Yeah baby that's how we roll here
This isn't new. This sort of thing predates internet piracy though it was historically sold on the streets
At least they are honest about it?
I mean technically but it's quite common in regions where no physical release has happened because many people don't have access to streaming quality Internet.
It's less piracy in a way since this isn't competing with the actual show since the haven't got a physical release and people are buying a physical copy most likely because they can't watch it online.
wow. how retro of the seller. haven't bought pirated CDs/DVDs since the early 2000s.
Oh this used to happen all the time back then. People would pirate movies from the cinemas directly and then burn em on cds and sell. We bought cds this way when they came around. Recording in vhs become tedious plus i grew up and wanted new tech lmao
I remember buying VHS copies of films on the streets in Blackpool in the north east of England. The good ol' days!
That sir is highway robbery
Why would anyone get this???? Just go to the megathread and find a good download.
Of course. I wasn't posting this to suggest this was in any way a good purchase.
Yeah it's piracy. I'd be a little less mixed on it if it came with a case so you could at least put it on the shelf or something
Yea lol
At least take the time to print artwork and a label smh. Not just a scam but lazy too.
First rule of piracy is don’t buy it don’t sell it
Wait this is more like video in Bluray disc. Bluray is good because it's m2ts, but this won't be m2ts and the movie can probably fit in a 4.7gb dvd. Man is scamming laypeople hard
Almost certainly correct as there does not seem to be a higher quality version available anywhere
Yeah can confirm, max PTP filesize is 4.8gb
DVD is only 720p
Now he could just drop the 1080p file on a DVD-R as a data disk and not burn it as a real disk, but that would be some really sketchy shiz.
Who still used DVD in 2025??? Even my windows 11 pro didn't have DVD player no more hahaha
Smart people still use physical media. Because it cannot be taken away or changed without your consent.
Though I mean most people use their PS5/XBSX to play UHD-BDs. DVDs are old and only support 720p. UHD-BD uses 2160p (4K).
nobody is watching ts 💔
Come again?
Lmao bro selling pirated and burned media. 200 iq move
They've been doing this in Indonesia since the invention of DVD burners. I have an entire 200-sleeve CD holder filled with movies I bought in Bali for like 15c each, in like 2008.
The real kicker here is the dude selling it priced as though it's a real official copy. "You are paying for the time spent" bro it takes like 20 seconds to set up the burning process, and then a couple of seconds every few minutes to swap out a completed disc for a blank.
Before the DVD burner was around, actually. When I lived in Indonesia (1996), I used to get movies on VCDs (2 discs per movie). Before that, I was buying games on 5 1/4" at the local markets.
People who do this get burners that read a disk and have ten drives at a time making copies.
idk man I just feel like this dude isn't actually mass-producing these on the scale that you're imagining. If I was this dude I'd secure my profits by burning them to order, instead of bulk producing 100 copies that may not ever get sold.
My dad back in the day bought this tower that would burn 10 discs at a time from a friend who had 4 of them lol I’ll have to see if they still sell those.
I would love to do that if I wasn't worried about legal issues
Not a problem if you're not in a first world country
Even if you're in a first world country if you were doing it early enough.
2002 was 23 years ago.
Burn cds were popular in my area but not burned movies. I made out like a bandit.
We had a piracy network in work, all the site staff would get these burnt discs until one day one of the customers who was a police officer had a crap copy, got it shut down. Nothing was done as half the force was in on it.
when I was in vacation in India we used to watch a lot of movies on DVDs, costed nothing and there were literal shops just for this. not only it was the poorest quality possible (internet wasn't that fast back then. imagine in India) but they would also sell Theater rip of new movies, crazy time back then, I wouldn't be surprised if they still existed today.
