I like VS code a lot, overall, but that trust prompt gives me "Microsoft Office safe mode" hives.
Instead of working, I'm sitting there wondering how or if my syntax highlighting extensions are secretly stealing my data or mining crypto.
Maybe two levels of extension permissions? I dunno. Shit's stressful. 🤢
If the trust prompt has given you hives, you should probably know that it usually goes away without treatment, but antihistamine medication is often helpful in dealing with it.
Instructions unclear, applied topical Benadryl directly to computer monitor

Oh no. The TV flashbacks... just dial 10-10-3-2-1...
Just set it, and forget it!...
THE SOBAKAWA PILLOW...
😱
Every freaking time I open VS code this meme pop into my mind
Lol that's the reason VS Code asks in the first place
It's not empty, it's full of potential.
Paranoid VSCode asking you if you trust the literally infinite number of potential authors who may potentially create code that may potentially end up in that folder at some point in time.
If VSCode looked closely, it’d certainly ask a second time.
LMAO "Are you sure? I mean... is that as good as you can do?"
How can I say to it "I'm sure as hell I don't but run the code anyway because it was written partly by me and partly by my two interns and reviewed by me?".
yeah they're working on a new button that says "with trepidation"
Lol. Everytime. Even if the files originally came from my computer.
Trust no one, not even yourself
conclusion: VS code is cute
I woudln't though, you trust yourselves?
