For real, every app I've done it was, compile and pray. It's been a little bit but this brings back memories.

I made an app in codename1 once and it was ridiculous how many of the apis just don't work on ios native (which I couldn't test due to lack of an iphone), so I had to write obj-c code (with ai because screw obj-c) to call the non-deprecated apis.

Just use AI. Then you can base your code on the feeling of an API instead of its documentation. PLUS, if you use a modern dynamic language, you won't get any annoying compiler warnings that would prevent you from shipping. Just automate your customer service with AI, so you won't have to personally read the user complaints. Boom, only one screen needed.
