It depends if it’s physical or mental. If he’s physically unwell but mentally fine, that’s lowkey smart, but if it’s on the other end, atp just get a doctors note or something idk I don’t live in china

Honestly I'd do this. Better than being bed ridden all day. Plus I bet I could plug my gaming computer into that monitor and play games again too.

I was bedridden for a minor operation for 2 weeks and in the second week I was so bored that i opened the work laptop and started working on technical debt or things i wanted to do but were never ticketed.
