I recommend getting some strong as fuck pre workout and let it expire a bit. Once it's not a powder but a singular mass, eat it like it's some fuxkin gummy bear. Due to it not being a liquid it'll probably all hit at the same time.

Source: I fucked up once, thinking it's not a powder but a gelatin like a thing. Had to go home and lie down.

Dude I was so unwell. Thinking back it's really funny but I had 180 heartrate on the stationary bike in the gym. Good thing it's literally 3 houses over to my home. At that moment I'd rather have been a beat dog.

750 mg caffeine hit like a freight train

edit: it probably was not 750mg, but i remember it was like 5 energy drinks worth so probably more like 400 or something. At the time where I live, most preworkouts were part-quick absobtion and long absorbtion coffein and i was on the floor. It was pre covid/early and my memories are fuzzy

One cup of black coffee is something ~ 100 to 200 mg caffeine.

So 400 mg isn't really much. Could be just two big, strong coffees. Energy drinks don't have so much caffeine actually, Coffee and tee are much stronger.

OTOH, you can end up in hospital, or even in the mortuary, if you consume around 1.5 g (or more) pure caffeine at once.

Caffeine is actually a quit potent drug, and not really innocuous. Which just shows how arbitrary legislation is: E.g. amphetamines are less dangerous when it comes to potency. Still they aren't available free; but pure caffeine in arbitrary amounts (which like said can kill even in "small" does) is.

i have been addicted to energy drinks since i was 16 or so. Now i'm 29. I'm trying to move back to coffe, black. Partially because i want to loose wieght, and well no sugar and partially because energy drinks basically 3x-ed in price overt the past 4 or so years.

I have no opinion on amphetamines vs coffein. I simply don't know enough. However, I've never seen somebody detonate their lives over coffein. But again, i'm not familiar with the subject. Where I live you need to be terminal cancer patient to be described some of the stuff that is given in the USA with a doctors note AFAIK. But again, i'm NOT a doctor.

I have been drinking black coffee for over thirty years, 2-3 cups a day, sometimes one after dinner because it hits so well some times. No sugar, no cream. You have to find a good bean thought. Try a few cafes or store brands, find one you like and see what happens, maybe you can kick the sugar addiction. Give it a shot, I believe in you!

Oh, i have been drinking coffee... with energy drinks lol. Especially in the office where it's free.

If non coffee drinkers read this op is right on the money with the bean. Good beans are expensive AF.

Personally i like darker toasts but really hate when it's acdiy.
u/szerdarino do you agree that even the same brand of beans have become worse over time? Parents like a specific brand, but overtime it became so shit it's basically undrinkable now. Do you have exp with this?

Yeah, energy drinks are sugar bombs!

Regarding coffee:

I know someone who waked up in hospital after he just fell over because of too much coffee. He said the doctors told him afterward that he needs to reduce the coffee intake as otherwise it's not sure he will wake up again the next time his heart doesn't manage his caffeine consumption. Dude was just in his 20's and otherwise healthy (and not overweight or so, as this is also a problem for the heart).

The point about amphetamines was just to show that we have really quite dangerous stuff available at any store around the corner, but other stuff that is not really much more dangerous prohibited. It was just an example of how arbitrary this whole legislation is.

(There's even this conspiracy theory which states that the whole "war on drugs" and the prohibition since the late 60's is mostly just a coup of the mafia so they can make even more money. At the same time in the US the pharma industry is pushing all kinds of addictive drugs quite hard. For example, the "opioid crisis" was created on purpose by McKinsey!)
