Fifth panel: “Wait no, I still don’t get it”
6th panel: oh shit there’s been a bug unnoticed for the past year
The fourth panel is unrealistic
Na, it just misses a few steps in between
Just came here to say this, but you beat me to it.
*yesterday
I literally just spent half a day debugging down to a line where I wrote a comment the day before that an option I was setting might be the wrong one. Spoiler alert. It was.
yesterday*
For me its more like "Who wrote this?" until "Ah, yah, its mine"
And then still don't comment why
I once cursed the idiot who wrote the code. I went through the git history to find out who the idiot was, and it turned out to be me
With me when i find a script I don't remember I'm like "What moron wrote this??? Wtf were they doing?" Oh shit... I wrote it. Bonus points for the time I asked in Mattermost who had written some bit of code I found in a devops script folder on some random server just for it to be me.
There's another panel where you spend 10hrs rewriting the entire thing only to get to the "oh, that's why" panel.
Every. Bloody. Time.
Thats what i think every time i open Reddit, and see someone reposted this, again.
What sort of stuff was I on and is there any of it left?
skill issue
...forgot source code comments? :-)
That one time Big Bang Theory had a good joke.
better than rewriting it only to arrive at the same spot
