Wrong answer. The correct answer is nobody loves a lack of a dark theme.
I mean, that's exactly what it should do. It's a list of key takeaways from the reviews, not a list of the app's best features.
Its not a bug, its intended design. Look how the number of reciews goes down the back up for "the lack of dark theme", its meant to highlight potential issues that are widespread without exactly making you read 300 reviews or just shilling the game by having only positive ones. This isn't the only app this happens to

Dark themes help with eye strain. They're not a fashion trend. If you're staring at a screen for many hours on end, like many programmers, it helps a lot.
Well, dark themes do struggle on presentations, whether it is screen sharing or an actual slideshow.
However, there is many measurable benefits, not to mention its an aesthetic choice like any other.
